What did you use to create that much rust? I know its not natural because that much rust would have deformed the edges. As we can see the edges are very defined and crisp.

Beautiful piece of equipment. Only criticism would be that you were grinding while not wearing safety glasses. As one who got a piece of steel in my eye doing that same action I always encourage people to be sure and wear the glasses. And, I saw your beautiful assistant laying in the background.

Recommend you Use Safety Glasses Sir

How long did you leave the blank in the rusting agent and then out of it before neutralizing it? Also what did you use for it? Third what where the two colored liquids that you mixed together in the film? Showing the set of ready made blanks with broken handles all with the same exact rusting on them is kinda a dead giveaway that you are pre rusting blanks. There are so many old tools that actually need to be restored. Why not use the knowledge you have to fix those instead of basically pulling scams on people. On camera you do nice work, you don't have to try to trick us in to thinking you are doing something you are not ie restoring. You can just do "look I made this custom axe from a blank" or even just start the video with a sheet of metal and go from there. Edit: Evidence is that the axe is sheet metal, that is a relatively new way of making them. All of the tools he showed at the beginning had the EXACT same rusting and dirt patterns. He admitted to using vinegar as a rust remover in another comment. This is a MILD remover at best that would not work if the axe was naturally rusted as bad as it looked. Lastly if the sheet metal had rusted out to 3 times its size then there would be no axe to restore.

Beautiful piece but two things, one, rust is unnatural and two, it’s not a cleaver knife it’s just a cleaver

Love this but one criticism: I didn’t like the last stain u put. It made it look dark and too shiny. The natural light brown wooden color compliments the silver blade better but that’s my opinion. If it were me, I would use this for shuriken practice. Keep the vids coming man!

Looks more like a skinning knife than an axe. blade is far to thin to be an axe as well.

The end result is beautiful. But the steel became very thin!

Please don't take this wrong. But I think you stopped short of a great polished blade. You can see the different polishing marks at different angles on it yet. A finer polishing compound may be needed to eliminate those marks. Could even try some wet polishing compounds. Other than that, very nice...

Só quem nunca usou uma ferramenta não percebe q esse machada está intacto, apenas usaram uma técnica de envelhecimento e ferrugem, típico de youtubers, ou pra quem vende produtos de restauração. No mais, no geral é um trabalho incrível, e essa machadinha top demais!
