Ready for Cleetus to build a SXS for Race day. I do not see him seating on the sideline with a mud unit🤨. But either way, l'll be watching whatever you guys build. 😎
Maybe it's because its the underdog, maybe it the sound of slamming gears, maybe I'm just a Yamaha fan boy (I've had 6 Yamaha road bikes) but gawd damn the YXZ is my favorite machine, good to see her spoolin again.
@@DUNEATV I'm a Honda guy by trade but the old "Y Zinger" as I call it would be my choice .. Better then the "Rubber Band" Toys.... But as some say your just a Honda guy.. Love the vid's keep them coming.
I know jack squat about side by sides, and don’t even own one, but I really look forward to seeing your videos. I watch other channels now and again but I’ve been watching yours religiously since about 3 months ago. Love the genuine friendship you guys have and how you work as a group. Than you!
Good job Doug it's a definite success with your master technician ability go Dougy go the YZ is a BEAST FORSURE DONT PUSH THE PEDAL SO FAR YOUR FOOT ALMOST CAME THE ON THA WHOLE SHOT..... .
Glad yall got cleetus a bike and i found the channel dont even have a side by side or ridden in one but love what yall are doing cool dudes love the content i will be watching and liking the videos as long as your making them thank you for the awsome content
That a boy Doug it’s going to take all them x3 s out I can’t wait they are pretty much maxed out for any type of drivability and your on the tip of the iceberg let it rip
There is actually a formula to calculate torque multiplication. You need your 1st gear transmission ration (this will have the most multiplication), final drive ratio and tire size. Depending on these numbers, 300ish ftlbs of torque at the crank can add up to 4800ftlbs of torque at the axles. 4800ftlbs sounds like a ton of torque but you can increase or decrease it just by going up or down a few tires sizes quite a bit. Hopefully this new diff won’t shear in half like the last one!
well, boys, you were talking about what to do for trophies, so maybe gut that diff case and maybe get whoever broke the case to sign it and present to the guy that either wins or has the worst roll-over breakage, old parts make great trophies, turbo`s, pistons with rods from rebuilds, ect
Super stoked about the deal with Rocky Mountain ATV! I’m still rockin an OG Mav, and now I can buy and help to support you guys! Love the content, love the projects, love the dedication you all put into making new videos consistently! Seriously, keep it up. 👍🏼
Awesome guys. Great job. I’m not surprised at the time. Considering that you were almost backing off with damn near 10 mph left till actual 60, it’s not a surprise at all.
speaking of banshee days I couldn't help but notice some banshee action in the barn when you guys were pulling the artic cat out..... be pretty sweet to see a little banshee rippin just sayin
That bag is super slick for sure. Just did the rear diff seal and gear oil in my truck the other day such a pain getting it from the jug to the diff. Shit gets everywhere smells funny ruins anything your wearing. This bag thing is genius. Brilliant!!
Man that YXZ is mean. I could only imagine the exhilaration while actually sitting in that.. great build guys can't wait to see the finished tune. Would you consider releasing a more in depth tune video maybe on the other channel for us nerds that like to watch that stuff 😄
Your dash is sampling at 100hz, GPS refresh rates are around 10hz. Trust your dash for zero to sixty. Log, vss (vehicle speed sensor). Your aem data is based off of time. Awesome videos!
They responded to me on that subject they said that yamaha doesn't want to play. It's too bad I would love to see an SS model up against the XX or the talon since the XX has the same motor and the talon is also manual
I can tell you the 2019 is awesome! But so are the 16-18 models. Just a flash tune and opening up the exhaust they run hard. Shifting the transmission and working the clutch is REALLY fun!
I used to use a hose on the end of the pour tip. Then I would poke a small hole in the bottom of the bottle and shove my air chuck in the hole with a tapered end. Regulate the air real low and had no more tired hands.
You gave away my secret parts house! I have been buying from them since 2012 or 13. I have work on all types of SXS and ATV’s. They have the best inventory and always pull thru with the non-stocked items. Secondly, be careful driving a sxs with a broke differential. I have had a differential lock-up and break a transmission case before. You did right by towing it.
I feel like a higher gear will help, theres enough power you don't need to keep it in high rpm so much plus it'll load up the turbo better. Just my 2 cents. I love the YXZ so much
When I was at UTV take over the owner of Florence Yamaha let me drive his turbo yxz (set up for drag racing ,paddles on all four corners )he had masking tape on the tack to know when to shift and it was not even close to the rev limiter and when I shifted on his tape it was obviously faster than when I maxed out . Just food for thought.
Man I cant wait to see yall take the yxz back to the dunes and do some wheelies in it and some drag races !!! If yall need a good OEM parts site check out cyclepartsnation.com they have super reasonable prices and if yall can get in touch with them you might even be able to get some type of deal through them as well. Cant wait to see all the new stuff that yall have in the works !!!! Keep up the great work and the awesome vids as well !!!!
I watched all 47 adds in full. Next time it breaks you can spring for the billet unit...lol. The xyz is a monster, beast mode has some competition fo sure.
Heck yeah dudes! If the YXZ isn't going to be driven on the tight trails that much anymore wouldn't longer gears be a valid option for more high speed action since it has the power for it? P.S. That thumbnail is absolutely hilarious!
idk 100% if it would work but i think it would as long as you still have a hydraulic clutch. you typically cant put down 100% of the power on the launch without spinning the tires anyway , but that 10% of the time you do get close to 100% traction at WOT its gonna shatter the diff. Thats where a Magnus Launch Control Device Comes in. You can tune the launch control so that even if you go full clutch drop it will never dead hook without slipping and relieving some of the torque shock from the drive train. The Magnus Launch Control wont cause you to loose power anywhere else except for on a dead hook launch at WOT but thats all about tuning.. would be a good investment for a manual trans build like the YXZ.
