This content is OUTSTANDING dude, please, keep doing stuff like this more often. Wizards's times from Pokemon tcg... pure skill, snappy gameplay with tons of trainers, simple and clean cards. Ridiculously solid decks. just an error, a wrong energy , a wrong Oak could cost the entire game. Awesome format, Just for real men.

@Nikolaiii prices have gone up a lot recently. To the point that using proxy cards is almost a must. I doubt that Andrew will be buying more base set era stuff to make decks 😭. Hopefully he will continue to make videos on these retro formats

Well I'm glad Mahone's awkward clarification between sleep and paralysis helped me figure out the difference. Lol Also I would love to see more of the Dark Gengar deck! I absolutely love it!

That would be fun, but with so many old formats, you almost couldn’t get games on the ladder with anything other than bots and would just have to play with friends. Also they won’t even give us legacy tournaments or ways to get tradeable hgss cards so they probably won’t add these cards😭😭😡

Both deck I have played. I had a Haymaker deck with Wigglypuf and also a Clefable deck. But later, with the Neo genesis my favourite all-time Deck is the Slowking with his Pokémon power, combined with Mukrow (meanlook) and Dark Eevee to attack 50 or more depending dmhow many dark energy it used in front and at bench Pokémon 30, baby killer. And if it was settled, no training cards could play because of SLOWKING his Pokémon power!

I have my own Haymaker deck. It’s a lot of fun to play with. The game was so different back in the early days. Compared to today, the damage output versus energy cost was very low, but that made you think a little harder. It would be neat to see a Rain Dance or Damage Swap deck in action. Early formats seem like they were so much fun

I've been playing Buzzroc and Malamar/Necrozma GX and boy do they do some damage!! Mahmone has ruined my opponents lives with these decks, I knocked out a Sun Steel Solgaleo with a choice band watch n learn earlier it was hilarious 🤣

I wonder how much that old Arcanine/Defender deck would go for? I'd love for one of you to play it. Swing for 80, while cutting the recoil down to only 10 for 2 turns! Can also use it on Electabuzz to prevent the recoil. Or MP Mewtwo/ psyduck/Golduck hmmm

I was an extremely gifted player back then. Ranked number six back in 1999 in Canada. Just sanctioned tournaments but the points counted and added up. I surprise the whole tournament when I brought out hitmanChan electro buzz and venomoth. I’ve seen players upon players get so frustrated with my Venomoths And nobody was playing them because they only saw the small damage. I saw beyond that I was hitting everybody with the poison that doubles and confusion every 😎

Print fake ones for free size is 3.46 inches tall, the width will auto to match. I've made 6 of these old decks all printed, they still look good enough

@@ParacticoolGaming same I have been making tons of proxy cards because the real ones are expensive! I print them at 3.4 height and stick em in a sleeve with another random Pokémon card. I’m having a blast playing with my brother
