Just now watching this, but I relate to your dream talk at around 50:00 so much I had to comment. YES I can confirm when I stopped smoking the devils cabbage I started to have absolutely insane vivid dreams and I could remember them completely the next day, I would have like flashbacks from the dreams. ALSO I was able to lucid dream as a teenager too and would fly and do the same thing. I’m sad I haven’t been able to since I was around 18.
Clem is playing better but hitting maxpax on his stong zones, if he can find some soft spots to use some of his apm it would be interesting. Like in last 10 mis there is barely any harass by clem while maxpax is continuously doin it, the 1 turret by raven is not that effective compared to zelot harass forget about DT.
Terran player here I do in fact think storm is broken. I think the fact that it's instant makes it super strong. You can't reactively spread against it because the damage is instant. You have to have a pre spread. Gsl season 1 this year. Hero and classic owned maru and byun with storm. They just push and rely on reactively splitting but it just doesn't work like that vs storm. It's not like ghosts are the counter you just have to set up engagements better.

how to say you know nothing about starcraft or balance, storm does damage over time and doesn't stack, also storm hurt zealots quite often as well. Emp for example is instant damage vs protoss if they have shields.
Man, Protoss's giant unstoppable splash damage effects aren't really fun to watch from a viewer's perspective. You can kill banes as they charge and run around terrain siege units, but storms and balls are so APM intensive for the opponent, it just looks stressful and forces the game into a repetitive cycle where the armies meet and then immediately split and run away. Like, I know this game is well-balanced, but this mechanic just seems to force a single type of interaction.
@@orangepearlf40 oh man yeah, it feels like the slimmest margin for error and the best counter is just a higher apm. As a gold league Terran, I mostly just cry as half my bio ball melts 😂
Hmm ive plenty of games with clem annihilating maxpax bc he dodged the balls in his sleep. The idea here is clearly that Maxpax only got this disrupter advantage bc his game prior to massing disrupters has been overthrowing clem. SC2 balance is oftern around preventing the enemy to mass up powerful units.
@@mikeserds2333 Totally agree! There's an argument to be made both ways here, it just seems like (especially when the disrupter count gets so high), the only counter is that near pro-level dodging. If you're a scrub like me, it feels impossible but I'm sure Protoss players are frustrated because their big shots can literally be dodged.
I could not disagree more - so much is going on all of the time I need someone to give me high level commentary or I miss about 80% of what is going on.
