This is one of my favorite warmup pieces. Simple, very easy and fun to play, but still beautiful, audiences love it, and it gets you in the musical mindset.

Im playing this as part of my audition to get into a highschool based on the arts. Needed to see the correct tempo. I love this song its so fun to play

This has taken me a LONG time to get comfortable with, but most of that has to do with how I was practicing. Now (freaking 6 months later - I have a learning disability), it's starting to click. I went from tempos all over the place, without solidly mastering the first movement, to playing (Nov. 2nd, 2023) at 60 BPM, and not moving on until the entire song (chucking every 4 bars), is solid. I have been tutored for one year, and while I still get anxiety because I'm trying not to make mistakes (playing a piece feels sometimes like a test), and by April, 2024, I hope to reach this video's speed.

I used to play this song as a warn up back when i was a kid. This song is giving me nostalgic vibes 😌

Such an easy song and the only reason i struggle with it is cuz i cant read super high notes. Takes me so long to realize which note that is. Its even worse for those with no memorization abilities.

Where is forte? Where is piano. All sounds are the same.

Having the recapitulation in the low register works (like an intime whisper) one time, but certainly not two - he should have made a gesture one octave higher the second time and then reversed the scale downwards instead. It's not just the character, but slao that the entire second half of the peice gets imbalanced when everything is higher in the first reapet section. Also, the harmony in the last two beats of the bar preceding the recapitulation is a bit lame me - I would have included the leading tone to create a little bit more tension.
