I'm a Clemson alumni. Dabo is wonderful and has created an incredible program that has resulted in hundreds of young men having an opportunity to live dream lives whether on the playing field or in the workplace. The powers that be need to listen to him. With all of this said, football is a beast unto itself. It's the driving force behind the funding of all other college sports and it drives enrollment. Pay the kids!
Ohio State fan but I have alot of respect for coach Dabo. I have a 12 year old son if he was a D1 kid I'd definitely push for him to play for Clemson because of coach.
I give dabo a hard time but he really is a great head coach and has changed a lot of young mens lives with the game of football he is spot on about football problems not being solved by football people
In 2015, The Power Five conferences were given Autonomy for making rules for their sports programs. It becomes much easier for those Presidents to actually enact some of the measures Coaches like Dabo Swinney want to see put in place. Prior to 2015, those could get voted down by Division 3, Division 2 or even FCS schools. So Dabo is right, things are actually getting better from his perspective. Once realignment within the Power 5 is finalized, they will all be on the same page and they can pass these rules within their ranks very quickly.
Garrett Riley is a young energized football coach, he will be without a doubt a head coach of a major college team soon, he is like the perfect seasoning to a pot of stew that makes it so much better, well just so happens Clemson is that pot of stew, support your college team whoever that may be and enjoy college football...
It’s unfortunate Dabo plays in the ACC. BIG and SEC tv contracts and money are going to be a huge Mountain for Clemson moving forward.. I’m not a Clemson fan Im a Penn St fan but got a ton of respect for him hopefully Clemson lands in the SEC or the BIG…
You can only blow up a balloon until it pops or you can only put five gallons of water in a five gallon bucket, after that the only conclusion is destruction, college football is at the five gallon mark...
He's more of a conservative not a Republican, either way it's better to be anywhere on the right side than the left side, there's a big difference in morals.
@@SCcountry2 22 I'm neither, because every time I hear politics all I hear is childish immature blame shifting, everything is always someone else's fault. I believe in accountability and I want my kids and grandkids to believe in it too. I don't do left and right, that's a man made thing. I'm a registered independent, although I don't live in S.C., I do like Clemson football. Dabo worries me though, he likes to speak many words, especially when a camera is on and people like that often say something that causes them to self destruct. I hope he doesn't.
@@JWCFB I'll give you that, most politicians are full of s***, especially the clown's running this country, and you're right I try to teach my kids right from wrong everyday, that's all you can do at the end of the day.
So one day he goes on and on about how he doesn't want the business aspect of football and wants to make a team around Jesus for a game that's about hitting each other and then the next he comes on and says oh yeah we should run this like a business..... The guys a pretty big hypocrite. Honestly we've seen his character clearly this past year as his fans start realizing they aren't going to be a championship team for the next hundred years
