MY GOD. This woman has the most divine singing voice.

I saw Cleo in concert in 1977, and it was my first realiztion of the singing voice as musical instrument. She is sublime!

One of my favorite singers. I saw her at least 5 times in person when I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. Great!

I saw her sing this with James Galaway and it was superb. When she was touring here in Seattle in the 70s. My voice teacher suggested I go see her so I bought two tickets and remember this like it was yesterday.

Cleo shows how it's done, in every respect: artistry, vocal technique, showmanship. Amazing.

Yma Sumak had 5 octave range, she could hit upper F, but that's just a voice phenomenon, is that important? Cleo Laine is a superior impeccable versatile performer. This particular item is a pure gem. I wonder if Sumak is still alive. I knew her as a child in 60's.
