Gal Gadot looks more Nefertiti than Cleopatra. Too beautiful for that rol. The same happened about Liz Taylor but back in that moment not even historians knew that. Angela Basset has not place there as they were all a family of greek origins.

Elizabeth Taylor was chosen for Cleopatra because she was big boxoffice at the time. She was also far too beautiful for the role and also in her very late 20s or early 30s, and , played her from teenager on. Big stretch.

Cleopatra was Hellenic descent, just like Alexander the Great. If any Slavs want to dispute that the Ancient Macedonians were Greeks get a proper historical education. Ancient and modern Macedonia was and still is a province of Greece.

What's good? Which Caesar is from Phoenix? Where have you seen a patrician with jutting chins like Fenx's? And from the side, the Phoenix looks like a native of the 30s. Phoenix made stupid speeches in the movie Gladiator.Caesar was an intelligent man. "As long as they're afraid of us, let them hate us as much as they want."He was a smart man.The ceiling of the Phoenix is Mark Antony, but it doesn't look like Caesar.In general, Delnev Zendeya was going to shoot in Cleopatra, not Gadot. Reminds me of history video that pointed out that there were so many women named Cleopatra in ancient Egypt.. There were even about 5 of them alive at the same time as THE Cleopatra that had a child with Julius Cesar and was with Mark Antony. Even one of that Cleopatra's sisters was named Cleopatra.

It seems to me that this could be a fake created by AI... and as far as I remember Cleopatra V was not black because there were no black people in Ptolemy's family... for example they could have been Ethiopians but I don't believe they mixed with this family... .which in fact was the first non-divine family by the standards of the Egyptian empire...despite Ptolemy having claimed to be the son of a goddess...which was not true.

This looked interesting for the 30 second I watched but will pass despite having an excellent cast. What made the original Cleopatra so great was not the movie itself which was crazy but what we knew about what was happening behind the scenes. Hopefully, this Cleopatra didn’t go over budget. They will never make the cost back. If it does you are welcome to come back and mock me.

Уже по актерскому касту видно,что фильм ничего хорошего. Феникс абсолютно не подходит для роли Цезаря. Ну какой с него патриций с его выступающим подбородком как у немца,англичанина? Говорил глупости в фильме " Гладиатор" . Цезарь был умным мужиком.Его потолок-мАрк Антоний.Август вообще похож на колонизатора англичанина конца 18-начала 19 века.Линейный корабль 17 века в фильме. Фантастика ,комикс для американцев.
