Thru Hiking The Cleveland Way.
I set out on my second thru hike,
this time on the 109 mile Cleveland Way.
Still in my backyard of Yorkshire,
starting in Helmsley and cutting through the North Yorkshire Moors then transitioning to the coast for the final stretch into Filey. Passing through Saltburn by the sea, Sandsend, Robinhoods Bay, Whitby and Scarborough along the way.
I committed to going as ultralight as possible on this hike carrying a base weight of 4kg.
I completed the trail in 4 and a half days.

interested to see you both have zpack tents! I live in USA (where they are very popular on the long trails) when I come to UK use my Durston XMid. Do the Zpacks handle the UK wind n weather pretty well?...I know how very windy the coastal paths can be!

I’ve never had a problem as of yet. Think it’s just choosing a decent place to pitch. I’d never set up somewhere massively exposed if I know it’s gonna be bad or like you say I’m open to the elements on the coast. Thanks for checking out the video 🤙

Hi, thanks so much for watching. I filmed in a really flat colour profile and just bumped up saturation and stuff yeah. Was a bugger for each clip but one the similar ones I just make compound clips and do them all together. Haha makes me wanna hike the Cleveland Way again just watching it back. ✌️ Ben.

@@GETtwoIT yeah I got then canon M50 after coming from a go pro and just decided to shoot everything flat and do everything manually and just learn as i go really. Am not sure what’s next yet. Definitely got the West Highland Way and the Pennie Way in my sights
