*We purchased this after moving, and previously had a spotlight **Newest.Technology** cam with solar power. The wired pro cam has much better light (about the same as a bright porch light), and the image is significantly more clear with much better details.*
Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ru-vid.comUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.
I am an AOP and I had this set up in less than 15 mins. It is that easy. I tried other cameras, like Digoo eye, that one kept having to be reset every time I pressed to talk. This Cleverdog works wonderfully. No problem whatsoever.
Thanks for review btw. Since yours is the only sort of full review have you experimented with the camera at all? I've got a few questions and hopefully some of you guys who own the camera could answer it. In this video there's a short clip of the recording from the clever dog cam but it doesn't seem to be a continuous recording, is this coz of the internet connection or the stream isn't continuous? Is the video in colour or black n white, many other reviews show black n white not sure why as the advert for the cam it's in colour. Will this camera work off a portable battery to use in a car for example as a parking cam to record on motion detection? How's the quality of the voice when trying to communicate when away from home? Is it clear? Distorted? Any issues? Can you do another review with some video clips of the night vision quality? Thanks.
Hmh!! Try the sricam camera. It is also an ip camera and is inr 2,398 . It moves 360 degrees left/right and 180 degree up and down. It's the best till now
Hi there, I am having a problem with my Cleverdog staying connected to Wifi when I leave the house. Have you got any tips. I have NBN network and I live in Australia so I shouldn't be having wireless dropouts. Is there any way to reconnect if you are not in the house to press the Wifi button. Thanks in advance :-)
When you start talking it seems like you're in a rush to read the entire script :D And 80% of this video, you only read the entire manual and that too in a rush .. If you share personal experience more that would be beneficiary :)
TECH MATRIX Am not an expert liks you, but from a viewers point I want to say that try not to read the script in a rush n try sharing personal opinions n experiences. That will make the video a bit more fun also.. Then again am not a youtuber am saying all these from a viewers point if view
+Syameeik point taken. I keep trying to better things out every time possible. Sometime it comes out well. Some times it doesn't. It's just how life is naa. Thanks btw.. Feels good when I get constructive stuff from. My viewers than just some people who say shit things which ain't giving anything for either of us.
TECH MATRIX Nopes am not one of those, i have been following you for quite a long time now, your videos are quality uploads like Dimitry, hardware canucks (you told me hes your fav yt). I love your uploads and am pretty sure your contents will entertain more in coming days.. Keep up the great work man 😀😀
Mine connected with no problems, but picked up a lot of static on the speaker. Relocated away from all electrical sources now sound is ok, however the microphone does not appear to function. On top of that as soon as I move away from my wi fi spread ie go away from the house it will not connect ! presumably I have to wander around till i find wi fi to connect to ?
So it's not easy to connect. It doesn't connect straight to your home wifi, you have to disconnect your phone first and you said you had to make some router adjustments. OK, thats maybe 3hrs checking about 4 videos, then trial and error. The mistake is thinking it will connect to your wifi, like a new smartphone. You have to connect first then mess around with the wifi setting, and that is the bit that looses some of us and that is the part on this and other videos that is most unclear, and looks a bit different on other phones
HI, thanks for the video. @ 3:07 you are saying you had to change your wifi router to WPA-PSK. do this mean this camera only works in WPA-PSK security settings? mine says WPA2-Personal with encrption type AES. do i have to change my secutity settings too...?
Hi, @1:15 you are saying its a dual cloud based? what it means - it is capable of recording in both SD card and cloud? - how can we use the cloud service?
Hi, thanks for sharing this wonderful presentation. I would like to ask if I can use this clever dog to video call on fb messenger? Need your advise on how to set-up mine. Hope for your prompt reply.
cleverdog camera while recording into sd card continously it leaving a gap of about 10 minbetween two successive recording. this cleverdod purchased from SMILE DRIVE. it is not recording any thing for this 10 minutes. so it is not a continious recording. I have another which I have purchased from CLEVERDOG directly does not have such problem. it records continiously. Please any body have the solutuon
+TECH MATRIX I saw that it has lithium battery. I plan to put it outside.my house that is why im wondering how long can it last without any USB connection for power
I have my Brand new Moto G and I'm having problems to connect it on my WiFi. I did all whats on your video and still connection failed and also one thing every time I connect it I loose connection on my WiFi through my phone. please help. thanks
Its not clever, its useless. Worked when I bought the camera although rather poor quality. But after an updated I cannot get it to connect anymore despite contacting both seller and manufacturer and getting no effective support.
