Applying for your Cruising Permit Online for the first time? Here is a Tutorial guiding you through the process of putting on your declaration for submission to Bahamas Customs. The Bahamas Customs has now launched its digital Cruising Permit Module (22nd February, 2021) in an effort to make declaring your vessel simple, easy and seamless. UPDATE (Changes): [updated January 1st, 2023]
- The Site's Landing Page no longer has the link stating 'Pleasure Craft'.
- Instead to log in, select the "Request Cruising Permit" button. No username or password is required to log in.
- Boaters do not need to register as an importer unless they intend to import items into the country. If all you have are you accompanied baggage, you can declare them within the system's Cruising Permit Module.
- COVID 19 requirements are NO LONGER required for entry into The Bahamas. The tab option in the documents tab can be deleted by selecting the handle (three dots) and select 'Delete'.

Log On: www.besw.gov.bs/TFBSEW/TFB.jsp
- No Username or Password Required.
- Select the 'Aircraft' link/button beneath the log in fields
- Registration is only necessary when you intend to import items into The Bahamas.
