You'd have to get a different harness for the different sizes! They have a size chart on their website to measure what your dog needs.

You shouldnt ride with your dog in the front seat. They're in much more danger because of the airbags and exposure to the windshield. It's best to follow the same rules for children and keep them in the back seat.

The dog is crash-tested in the seated position because in this position, the pet is at the greatest risk for injury. Stick with the crate forever. These harness are stupid and not safe at all. Most are absolute garbage and break on impact or they stretch so far the dog goes flying. Always always always use a good crash tested crate like "variocage" when traveling with your dog.
