Fun fact, the Beatles used to open up for Sir Cliff Richard. Yes, he was, is, always will be one of the greatest musicians ever. He has a top hit in 5 different decades. That is one hell of an accomplishment. 💯💕🕊

This is 1979 to a tee. Say what you want about ol' Cliff but this is without doubt his best tune and deservedly went to No1 in the UK charts. And it reinforces my view as to why 1979 is one of the greatest years for music......ever.

When I was a pre-teen I was watching this video with my two sister's and they both said I looked like the woman in the video. Yet they said I was going to grow up so much prettier than her. It was and still is one of the nicest compliments I ever got from my siblings.

That bass line just flows so well. Minimal lead guitar allows the whole piece to accentuate the vocals and keyboards. It surely is a great pop song. Respect Sir Cliff.

Long may he reign supreme. His songs are much maligned and denigrated by by so called " DJs " but appreciated and loved by so many fans of all ages. He's a fantastic performer, and an all time great. Keep on performing Sir Cliff. You'll still be singing when the music snobs are are no longer plugging anything.
