The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

That would be awesome if we got to see their spiritual progression in Life decades later if they're still alive. It's cool seeing classic younger Cliffe Knechtle from the 1990's and early 2000's answering questions from college students who were very respectful asking reasonable questions even if challenging to Christianity and theism. Cliffe Knechtle has been preaching and teaching for decades doing Christian Apologetics AMEN 🙏❤️👊. Jesus The Christ of Nazareth (Yeshua H'nashiac) was a Jewish carpenter born almost two thousand years ago in a stable and laid in a manger by His Mother Mary and father Joseph yet changed the world through His words, moral character and miracles even Resurrection from Death by Roman crucifixion and torture. Awesome videos from Stuart and Cliffe Knechtle's Give Me An Answer. I'm from Newark, New Jersey in The United States of America and I've met many Atheists, agnostics and secular humanists in my 24 years alive which helped me with countering atheist arguments. This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant

Someone on the comment section wrote, "Don't Idolize Cliffe, Idolize Jesus" imo I don't think anyone is Idolizing Cliffe, I think people are simply admiring him. He wasn't born knowing the Bible and the word of God. You can tell he spends and has spent a lot of time praying, studying and reading the Bible and any or all historical facts of the New Testament as well as the old. Yes, Jesus uses him as an instrument and uses him beautifully. He teaches in all his sermons or teachings to follow and love Christ. Look how God has blessed him? He now gets to travel around the U.S alongside his son Stuart. Who chossed to follow on his father's footsteps("you shall know them by their fruits"). I love watching new Cliffe and Stuart videos😁

Which is the opposite of what he said he does at the beginning of the conversation, which is respect all good and evil paths equally. Cliff called him out as not being able to live as he says, and while Cliff may not have pointed it out as I did, it's clearly there.. @Sethhaun78 Not Devil, it's sin since Sin is a by product of going against God, just as devil went against God since devil is a sinner too, and not THE sin. We also inherited a rebellious sinful nature because we all are sinners and our natural instinct is to go against God which is why we by ourselves cannot save ourselves but can be saved only trought Jesus Christ, so I would just say that the kid was being rebellious and simply saying everything opposite of what Cliff was saying because teenagers are rebellious but that trait is more apperant in them since he is still a kid and kids usually are not smart or wise and thus their rebellious nature is more pure, and by pure I mean that they don't know how to hide it.

What @YosafatNugraha said is correct. But also the Bible says to come BOLDLY before the throne of grace for mercy (Hebrews 4:16). You have to understand that being born again, you are now CHILD of GOD and considering how a human good father would give their child food when they ask for it (and not a snake or a stone), how much more the GOOD GOD who even came down and DIED just for you. Look at the parable Jesus told about the prodigal son. Notice how even after the son went away and did away with the Father's money foolishly, they had the CONFIDENCE that their Father was good enough to even accept him back as a slave. He was confident in the goodness and mercy of his Father. Not to talk of how it actually turned out, where the son ended up receiving goods and a party for his return. Your Father is THE Good GOD of The Universe. Like @YosafatNugraha said repentance is continuous, it is not just saying sorry. It is CHANGE following that, the change in behaviour and mind in attempt to align with GOD. It can be little by little. But know, and have confidence, that your FATHER is there for you and that he will ALWAYS accept you should you come humbly before him in repentance. I recommend reading Romans. GOD BLESS YOU

The greatest evidence for me to why I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is God, is that He promised to send the Holy Spirit to those who would believe in Him. Well he actual did do that for me, I encountered the Holy Spirit, when I got water baptised. Afterwards I spoke in an unknown language for three days and I couldn't stop. Then shortly after that I had a massive strong urge to read the word of God and I devoured it ever since I've become a believer. Scripture also says that the Holy Spirit bears witness to to our spirit that we are God's Children. That is also absolutely true. I know this because I can feel His manifest presence of the Holy Spirit in my own spirit, on a daily basis, which convinces me more than anything that God is Real. And Jesus proved himself to me that he was and is faithful to his written word. Many times in my life since I've come to believe in him. Therefore, as Jesus said the Holy Spirit within my spirit would bear witness to me that I am a child of the living God. That to me is the strongest evidence I have for belief in Jesus Christ that is his manifest presence in my life. There's no greater thing that convinces of Jesus Christ than my encounters I've had with His Spirit, I wish I had the time to share all what i've experienced with him for many many years. I can go on and share stories for days on end. Anywho, I promise anyone of you, If you seek God with all Your Heart you will find him, that I promise to you, that I promise you..

People don’t know what freedom really means. To some freedom is just I can do whatever I want and no one SHOULD stop me because I want it. And the last kid was a proof of this, and there are still millions who think the exact same. And this is not just a problem in the US, where freedom is emphasized, but sadly many who don’t believe in God in the world. That’s not freedom, that’s disorder. There’s so much to say on this, but I sincerely pray for that young man. Like Cliffe said, that young man doesn’t believe what he said himself, he just was in his pride and simply was there to “prove people wrong” by throwing some invalid statements.

The issue is whenever a person quotes "Do not judge" in this manner, they are judging. Jesus obviously didn't mean to never judge right from wrong, to just go through life viewing everything through the same exact lens, as if all behavior were of the same value. I have found that the people most likely to quote Matthew 7 out of context are most likely to judge others with pharisaical glee.

Ok, so you have no problem if some other guy decides to grape your girlfriend, your wife, or your daughter, because in his mind, he's ok with that and it's not wrong in his mind. No worries that it likely broke the mind of the woman in your life and she'll never be the same. You're ok if someone runs off with your vehicle and never returns it, because in their mind, they were entitled to do that. It isn't wrong. They can have it, and good riddance. You'll just walk everywhere you have to go; it's the luck of the draw. You're ok if someone breaks into your home and takes all your priciest belongings, and maims you in the process, and you have to live as a paraplegic for the rest of your life. It's ok; they were just doing what they believed was right for them to do. Why would you call the police to tell them something happened? Why would you call the insurance agent to report your things stolen? They weren't stolen; they were just taken by the next guy who decided they were actually _his_ possessions. When it gets right down to the wire, when it's actually _your sacred life_ that's being affected, there's not a soul on this planet that doesn't actually believe that there truly is a moral right and wrong. People deceive themselves into thinking they're ok with anything anyone else does, until "those people" do it to them, and suddenly it's all "call the police! Someone wronged me!" And at that point, if you're being honest with yourself, you'll realize that, rationally, you can't have moral standards without a "thing" in a higher plane than where we are creating that morality standard; it _must_ by nature, be "someone" that's not a mere human...

⚠️“Judge Not, Lest You Be Judged” A Misinterpreted Bible Passage! ⬇️ (By Jason A. Staples) Today we address one of the most quoted and most commonly misinterpreted passages in the Bible, a verse usually cited to mean that people shouldn’t judge one another but meaning something entirely different: Do not judge, so that you will not be judged, since you will be judged in the same judgment that you make, and you will be measured by the same standard you apply. (Matthew 7:1-2) Popular Interpretation. This is one of the most quoted verses in the Bible, usually in a context something like this: “Yeah, he cheated on his wife, but who am I to judge? Hey, we’re all sinners, right? Like Jesus said, ‘Judge not, lest you be judged,'” or “Don’t judge me-if you were really a Christian you’d listen to Jesus when he said, ‘judge not.'” That is, the verse is often used to defend against any declaration that a given person’s behavior is wrong-frequently by the person having engaged in the behavior in question. Effectively, when quoted as such, the verse is understood as a prohibition against declaring any specific action wrong, since doing so would mean “judging” someone. Hypocrisy, not judgment, is the problem. Often this verse is thrown around after some church figure (like Ted Haggard, for example) is found to be doing the very things he thundered against in the pulpit. “See,” it is said, “he shouldn’t have judged-he’s no better than anyone else.” Though this latter interpretation is often considered to be an extension of the former, the first interpretation entirely misses the point of the passage while the latter one nails it dead center. Despite how it appears if one stops reading after the first verse, this passage in Matthew is not forbidding judgment but hypocrisy. Yet again, we find that a text without a context is a pretext-the primary exegetical fault leading to misinterpretation is neglecting to read closely the surrounding section of a key verse. Jesus follows up his warning against judgment with an explanation-we will all be judged by the same measure that we use. If we cannot hold to the standard we use, we have no business applying that standard to others. There are two possible responses to this statement: one, operating under the assumption that no one can possibly live up to a high standard, holds to the interpretation mentioned above that no one should ever judge anyone else, since we’re all sinners. The second possibility is that we should all amend our own behavior and live properly before exercising judgment and helping others to do the same. The former is a popular option in today’s culture, which emphasizes “tolerance” as one of the highest virtues, while the latter is the choice actually made in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus rebukes the hearer in the verses immediately following the ones we’re discussing, Why do you see the splinter in your brother’s eye but do not notice the log in your own eye? … You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly enough to take the splinter out of your brother’s eye. (Matt 7:3, 5) There are several things to note here: the first is Jesus’ wry observation about perspective. The closer an object gets to the eye, the larger it appears-a splinter from afar is log-sized if it’s in one’s eye. So a fault in one’s own life is a far greater problem than the same fault in another’s life-the opposite of how we tend to think. But the point of the passage is to shut up only until one corrects one’s own life. And, contrary to much subsequent Christian theological development, the Matthean Jesus actually expects that a person can do so, ultimately living in a righteous manner. (This would often be labeled “self-righteousness” today, though it is simply called “righteousness” in Matthew.) The second thing worthy of note is Jesus point that only after correcting one’s own behavior will one see clearly enough to make adequate judgments and help anyone else correct his/her own behavior. This is a recognition of the human tendency to judge based on our own heart; that is, we tend to see ourselves in others. (The postmodern recognition of essential subjectivity is closely related to this concept.) Just like a man with a splinter in his eye, we see that splinter (only much larger than it really is-as a beam) everywhere we look. If we are arrogant, we tend to see arrogance in other people. If we are cruel, we tend to suspect cruelty in others. If we are lecherous (an outstanding and underused word-isn’t that a great word, “lecherous”? Even better is the noun, “lecher,” as in “you filthy lecher!”), we tend to suspect sexual motives, desires, or behaviors in others. It is extraordinarily hard for us to break out of ourselves enough to truly empathize, seeing from another’s viewpoint, and Jesus makes the case that it is far harder-perhaps impossible-to do so when we are not pure hearted ourselves. As long as we hold to our own faults, we will see them in everyone else. But, as Titus 1:15 says, “to the pure everything is pure.” So the passage is actually a condemnation of hypocrisy, not judgment. Jesus’ counsel is to tend to our own behavior and attitudes before attempting to help anyone else. If we attempt to judge before doing so, our judgment will be flawed by our own “splinters.” But the passage is in no way forbidding judgment. On the contrary, it asserts that judgment, like charity, begins at home. It is extraordinarily ironic that this passage therefore condemns those who most vigorously accuse others of “judging,” since they are themselves condemning condemnation-the very hypocrisy the passage condemns! The very judgment they condemn is precisely what they themselves are doing-they see their own splinter in the eyes of those around them. This passage would say to them, “Don’t forbid others from judging while condemning their judgment or right to judge! You hypocrites! Far from forbidding judgment, you have made yourselves the chief justices!” The whole point is that Jesus here rebukes those who judge others for doing what they themselves do-like negatively judging someone for being judgmental. In the immediately following verse, Jesus requires good judgment: “Don’t give what is holy to the dogs, nor throw your pearls before swine.” Wouldn’t this require identifying who the “dogs” and “swine” are? What about identifying the “wolves in sheep’s clothing,” whom we “will know from their fruits” in 7:15-20? Elsewhere in Matthew (chapter 18), Jesus lays out guidelines for dealing with a “brother who sins,” involving a progression from showing him his error in private to taking the matter before the whole community. In the same vein, Paul repeatedly emphasizes the church’s responsibility to judge its members (though, interestingly, not the world; cf. 1 Cor 5-6, et al.). A Few Observations and Why It Matters One thing that is often ignored in the “judge not” discussion is that judgment also involves (in fact starts with) a declaration of what is good. If we do not judge, we cannot praise anything any more than we can condemn it. Judgment involves making the distinction between good, bad, or indifferent, not simply declaring something to be bad. In fact, it is impossible to go through life without judging; every decision we make implies a particular value judgment underlying it. As such, in its common usage, the “don’t judge” mentality often actually means, “judge this as right and good!” While it is true that some things do not require a distinct judgment, others do require a position, and to take no position is to judge it affirmatively (tolerance of adultery is implicit acceptance of it, for example). Surely no one would assume that murder should be ignored and not condemned! Any society abiding by the “don’t judge” mantra would soon devolve into utter chaos. Secondly, without judgment (and specifically negative judgment), forgiveness is impossible. Forgiveness assumes a previous negative judgment that is superseded by the extension of mercy towards another-and Jesus requires that people forgive one another as they have been forgiven themselves (by God). Again, this both assumes judgment and encourages a merciful response. Thirdly, the actual message of this passage-deal with one’s own sins before looking at anyone else’s, since good judgment requires a pure heart-is critically important for understanding the rest of Matthew and even the Christian life itself. Likewise, it is critical to understand that Matthew’s Jesus emphasizes repentance and right action and assumes that once these things are in place, good judgment can be made and is in fact necessary. No one should ever let himself/herself be shouted down by cries of “don’t judge,” or accusations of being “self-righteous,” since such quotes out of context do damage to the intent of the passage as a pretext for defending behavior. In summary, in this passage Jesus warns of the human tendency to judge based on our own faults and flaws. This warning is one that should be considered before any assumption about another’s behavior or intentions. Instead, the passage asserts that we should always examine ourselves first to see if the splinter we see is actually affixed to our own eye-and only if our eye is clean can we trust our judgment enough to begin the process of helping remove the offense from anyone else. This is an incredibly important point, both emphasizing the importance of good judgment and the steps necessary to acquire it.
