My favorite trumpet player of all time 👏😊

His answers here are as thoughtful as his playing. This interview was a tremendous gift to all of us who admired Clifford so much.

Rest in peace young brother you are the greatest loss in 20th century music. Such a young sweet voice, sweet brown is what those cats called him

Thank you for posting this video. I used to listen to Cliff Brown everyday when I was in college. I never heard an interview with him until today.

In this interview, Willis Conover is just as much an interest as Clifford Brown is. When I was in the military I used to hear Willis on shortwave radio, Voice of America, all over the world as I went from station to station. His program opened with him saying "Time for Jazz". Ahh the memories🥲
