Climate change is causing glaciers to melt in Switzerland. In the summer of 2018, a mudflow has hit the village of Bondo in Switzerland. Climate change is in full swing. Can we still avert this or is climate change already too advanced so that we simply have to live with it? Are the melting glaciers in Switzerland one of the many consequences of climate change?
Climate change creates melting glaciers in Switzerland. We must quickly get a grip on global warming. According to the Indian writer Amitav Ghosh this is because we cannot imagine that our children will live in an unlivable world. Our endless desire for things like cars, meat and luxury goods are the main causes of the climate crisis. 'Everyone wants to be part of the good life', says Ghosh. "We are like a turkey for Thanksgiving. We are getting nicely stuffed but one day the head goes off. '
A mudflow from a melting glacier was the summer of the Swiss village of Bondo. Eight people died and the village was uninhabitable for months. Yet many do not want to see the consequences of the climate crisis. According to Ghosh, eating no meat or not driving is not enough to break the vicious circle. He thinks it is of the utmost importance that we oblige our authorities to take draconian measures and, if necessary, enforce them. It is ill to place all responsibility with the individual.
An example of enforcing government responsibility is the famous 'Climate case' that environmental organization Urgenda with lawyer Roger Cox brought against the Dutch State. Many legal procedures are now taking place worldwide. For example, a Peruvian mountain guide Saul Luciano Lliuya, whose village is also threatened by a melting glacier, has filed a lawsuit against the German RWE. The energy giant with its many coal-fired plants is responsible for 0.5% of global CO2 emissions. The Peruvian Lliuya states that RWE is also responsible for 0.5% of the damage that his village experiences. A German judge agreed with him and declared his request valid. A climate story about how we can turn the tide just in time.
With: Roda Verheyen (lawyer), Bruno Renggli (mountain guide), Amitav Ghosh (writer), Saul Luciano Lliuya (mountain guide from Peru).

@caldude the earth has been cooling since the year 2000 ? is that when you bought your new air conditioner ? my friend you need to do your own home work they are geoengineering worldwide with barium ,aluminum ,and sulfates . look up (geoengineering watch.org) also look up the work of independent scientist like jim hanson, guy mcpherson and paul beckwith ! now if you want to say they are causing the climate change by geoengineering that is possible and it is making it worst ! please look up the list and then reply to me with your findings thanks . remember australia had to spray the black top roads with there save up drinking water just to keep the tires from melting off the cars and truck so the people could go to work also take a trip to miami beach and drive down the roads at high tide the salt water is coming up through the drains into the roads even after installing a pumping system that cost 3 billion and bought 3 years until they need a new solution if you think that's a conspiracy it not here in florida the beach front property has gone down 8-9 % in value ask any realtor . now here is a fact if we stop burning fossil fuels and coal the temperature will rise much much quicker because it will stop the solar radiation masking management thats a fact ! ! damned if you do damned if you don't also look up the week of record highs in alaska in march! !88-94 degrees all this is found on you tube and you wont see it on the fake news !

how many documentaries like this have we watched about global warming? why dont you people stop spending money on fanfare and put more on actual change. how about you guys run for office and use your resources to do so. we have a buffoon as president, with a broken democracy of the rich for the rich yet we keep acting as business as as usual. all those that have money have power, yet you all use it for your own individual agendas, ignoring the greater threat. dont feel like "you tried" by publishing this piece, you have ignored it like everyone else, you just pretended that you care but keep playing your own little game in your own little world, like the rest of us. I, at least, am broke, the only decent excuse in all of this.

Hurricane Harvey that flooded Houston and Southeast Texas was not an abnormally strong hurricane. It was held in place by a weather front that didn't allow it to move on inland. T)3 severity of the flooding was an accident of weather, not climate change. I am from Texas, had family in the area and remember it well. I was hoping the weather front would move allowing Harvey to move inland and give us some rain deeper into Texas, so I was watching it closely.

We really don't know the effect of a warmer earth or higher CO2, it might be better for the biosphere. “I’ve got some ocean front property” in Arizona…as written by Dean Dillon, Royce Porter and Hank Cochran.... National Public Radio Weekend Edition Sunday, did a piece on climate change and coastal flooding that flared an interest in me as to how land in beginning cities where farmed out, the ocean front properties, if any were reserved for the affluent, where they built their mansions, on mostly low land to be near the waterways where the mooring of water vessels would be cheapest, however, for the poor, the less affluent, the high ground was reserved for them in way out of the way places, far and away from any water, even lakes and streams, as it would turn out the high ground, with the advent of global warming the high ground are less prone to flooding, is now suddenly becoming more expensive and prized, as little by little the poor are being encouraged to move out and away…

The Himalayan Glaciers give rise to 7 of Asia's largest rivers, which supply the water for 1.5 billion people. The Himalayan Glaciers are expected to be gone by 2035. (Similar for South America and Europe).In Glacier National Park in NW USA there used to be 150 glaciers but only 26 remain. They started melting 80+ years ago. The rise is only 1C so far. The Arctic Permafrost is melting releasing methane -- this is irreversible. If we stopped adding any more Carbon to the atmosphere Temp will rise by 3C at least, both Polar Caps will melt, all glaciers will melt. The indigenous people in Siberia see their landscape changing rapidly -- they say:"The Earth is Dying".

Climate change is a lie designed to control your life. Look at the people who claim we are out of time, do they live like they care about mankind's impact. No they have multiple mansions and fly all over the world in private jets. All get paid billions every year to keep up the lie. First it was global cooling in the 70's then it was global warming in the 90's and when they where caught in lies, now it is climate change. so when any storm comes along they can say "see this is what mankind has done". I could tell you that thousands of scientist disagree with this store that mankind is responsible and is destroying the earth, but what matters is have these people ever lied to you before? Then why believe anything they say now.

I hope some of you can take a little time out from your individual and collective hand-wringing, and try to grasp the lesson from what has happened here. This Peruvian has legal standing to sue a large European power company. That's significant, whatever the outcome down the road, but especially if the suit goes in his favor. Obviously, RWE cannot he held solely responsible for the harm done to the mountain environment in Peru. But a lot of law, around the World, depends on precedent. And whatever progress toward accountability is made in this case in Peru, it forms legal precedents that move things that much closer to justice elsewhere. That's the real reason this matters.

Yesterday it was the highest temperatuur in Germany in the city of Coshen on the border with Poland with 38.6 °C . It brocke the record of 38.5 °C of the city Buhlertal on 27-28 of June.... 1947. A rise of 0.1 °C in 72 years. Indeed a reason to panic. That it shows that high temperatuurs are occuring from time to time, regardless what humans do, is ofcorse not politicle correct. Before we had movies about catastrofic events, now they are governement funded and presentet as " news " . In 2003 in Europe have died 70.000 people as a result of a heatwave. The rest of the time, nobody dies..... Healthy people don't die from five day's above 35 °C . People who are not healthy can die of a heatwave or without it two weeks or a month later. I Brazille a dam brocke and killed hundrerds of people. By climat change ? People live on vulcano sides, on mounten sides where they have cut all the trees and vegetation, the world is an every changing crunch on a verry hot liquid ball. And because nothing moves for hundred years, it's seen as solid for ever. Do sea levels rise or is ther more prove in country's with mauntens that land rises or go's down also ? Is the land oing down or the sea rising. ? I live on a hill sid in Spain and the whole hill, more then 50 meters above sea level and the hill is made out of sediment with sea shells in stones . The hill was under the sea level before there where even humans. The past proves the facts. The future is a believe. Making people afraid is the best way to controle them.

One of the most interesting quotes, from this documentary, are the following words by author Amitav Ghosh: „Within the global power elite there is a significant proportion that now thinks in apocalyptic terms. They think there will be a massive Malthusian correction, as they call it. And that’s what they’re hoping for. That is their answer to climate change. “ I wonder... if that speculation is true, then why wouldn't they just bio-engineer a pathogen to kill off perhaps as much as 6+ Billion people in a direct hit to solve their problems? They have the power, financial means and knowledge to do that. That would be to their advantage to control the massacre rather than go into a full-blown uncontrolled natural disaster following abrupt climate change. Only a select few would be inoculated; The richest and most powerful plus a selected group of scientists, artists, etc. The criminal elite would not have to be worried about being prosecuted because the resulting post-epidemic society would be a weak mess without our laws and moral values. This is a horrifying thought but it has occurred to me that this scenario might be something the elite might choose to construct and execute. You can be certain that this thought has crossed someones mind with the means to research and discuss it at the highest levels.

Just because some people don't believe in global warming because their daily routine remains the same, sitting in a comfy couch with cold weather and a bit of heat in summer it doesn't mean that the rest of the world are, people are dying for heat strokes, things that never happened 30 - 50 years ago and the fact that it's happening today is very concerning. We can take carbon out of the atmosphere faster than we put it in by farming single cell algae on coast lines every city on the coast could power its electrical needs this way and as 90% of the world population lives along coasts it is a viable solution. Nuts and Bolts time: You dig channels on land and or build dikes by dredging with locks so tidal forces push the water in screens to keep marine debris and fish out. Waves drive pumps forcing air to bubble through the water saturating it with carbon and nutrients from dust in the air, city sewage can be added for more nutrients. Mix in small amounts of iron oxide to that and a explosion of algae growth will occur after three days you pump the water to a electrofloculation station this will cheaply separate the algae from the water. You pump the algae though solar heating coils to a vacuum chamber (you can cheaply create vacuum with gravity and 15 meter towers explanation at the end) the water inside the algae will burst the cells as it boils. This frees clean oil to be used as we need for pharmaceutical production, lubrication of machinery, fueling necessary vehicles that have no other IE better option. The husk of the algae cell can then be used as feed stock for furnaces recapturing the Co2 while making electricity or you can bio-digest it and feed the methane produced to a fuel cell system while recycling the Co2. The remains of that you can use for soil amendments to reclaim deserts, grow more trees, land based crops, feed back into the algae system or just sequester it at the bottom of the ocean. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-933XNdClFrc.html this video demonstrats how to create a vacuum at the mid point using gravity. Increasing the size of the top end of the pipe increases the area of the vacuum like a water tower upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/bd/The_Blue_Water_Tower,_Kaohsiung.JPG the vacuum created can be used to evacuate other chambers to compartmentalize production away from the vacuum pump to use specific vacuum chambers that crack the algae and dewater it as the steam escapes to a empty vacuum chamber this is another benefit as it produces pure distilled water helping humanity deal with a water shortage.

You are such a good engineer. When are you going to implement it? [/sarcasm] Let me poke some holes in your plan. 1. If you do open runway style cultivation you dont need to bubble air trough water. There is enough surface area to absorb CO2. 2. If you use open runways and use sea water there is 100% chance that small algae eating animals would find your algae farm and claim it as their home. Once there they would eat most of your algae. 3. The rest of industry doesnt agree with your definition of cheap. Extracting algae from water is still expensive thing. 4. The vacuum thing. I dont know where to start. The more I think about it the more wrong I find with it so its not just wrong it fractaly wrong. Also I am a person that watched all youtube videos about algae and bio-fuels in 2018. And by all I mean all.
@Barskor1
@Barskor1 5 лет назад
@@user-py9cy1sy9u 1, Don't need to bubble air? Sure if you want SLOWER Co2 absorption. 2, Microanimals still have oil to harvest and are just as compostable for fertilizer or when dead turned into methane. 3, The rest of the industry gets government subsidies and has its market protected with the high cost of regulatory compliance keeping out young and lean competitors who would normally force them to actually strive for-profit and efficiency. 4, Yet you can't muster up a single example of what is wrong with the vacuum idea? So you are just BS and hoping no one calls you on it.
@user-py9cy1sy9u
@user-py9cy1sy9u 5 лет назад
@@Barskor1 1. CO2 readily dissolves in water and if the system in not closed then bubbling is not needed. Some land plants developed mechanisms to increase CO2 concentrations at photosynthesis site to improve efficiency (read about C4 photosynthesis if you interested). To my knowledge no algae does that. The limiting factor for algae growth in your described system would be sunlight and nitrogen plus phosphorus. A air pumping system would cost more than it would help. 2. Yes algae eating organisms are biomass but there would be less biomass with them compared to if algae had no predators. Current estimates put algal biocrude at ~100 $ per barrel while regular oil this year was 45-70 $ per barrel. If you cant deal with algae eating predators you have no business case for doing anything with algae. The last time oil prices went up to $140 per barrel there was global recession and you propose to power cities at similar or higher costs. People cant afford it and they would use anything else. 4 . First pumping water up cost energy. Have you heard about pumped hydro energy storage? Second to continue boiling water you need either pump water vapor from enclosure or condense it elsewhere. Both require energy. Third I am very skeptical that boiling water would break cell walls. I might try it with my algae but suspect it would perform worse than coffee grinder. Even if you break the cell wall you more likely get colloidal suspension of small droplets of oil in water. A cell membrane acts like soap and it helps dissolve oil in water. I can go on but its getting too long

Harvey was not about climate change! It was a run of the mill hurricane held in place by a weather system from the west. Hurricanes are normal heat engines that disperse tropical heat, the weather system to the west that held Harvey in place dumping the unusually heavy rain in southeast Texas was natural, though unfortunate, not a climate change issue. Had that system not been in place, the hurricane would have moved inland and resulted in normal effects.

They must tell us the Earth radiates at 10 microns or 59 F. That CO2 absorbs at 4.3 microns or 750 F and at 15 microns or -112 F. It is clear that 10 micron infrared from the Earth is NOT absorbed by CO2, and travels out to space. The bands of 4.3 micron and 15 micron are narrow and do not overlap the 10 micron band. Yes, an insignificant amount of infrared is radiated by the Earth at 15 microns, however, only from very small surface areas in Antarctica and only when the Antarctic temperature drops to near record low temperatures, which it does very infrequently. CO2 is therefore irrelevant with respect to the so-called AGW theory.
@MrBrightlight66

Food for thought. What if..just what if CO2 is not responsible for climate change ? Would it not be better to place resources to defend humanity in early warning systems, better prediction of weather and climate and infrastructure to defend against the vagaries of weather ? It appears that the evidence, which is accessible to all, is suggesting that the contribution of humanity to climate change is much less than previously thought. Some reasearch is even suggesting that we could experience a prolonged period of global cooling rather than warming. If this turns out to be the case, we could have been barking p the wrong tree. This the importance of verifying whether these latest findings are true or not rather than stating that climate change is settled science.

Fourth point the keeling curve of atmospheric CO2 concentration and antarctic ice cores data. Fifth point gas solubility in water in relation to temperature. After you have a clearer idea of the context, try to figure out the timescales required for genetic evolution to happen in order a specie to adapt to new conditions. More dangerous is the multiple coupled feedback loops that we have set into motion that are now proceeding to individually warm the planet. Every area has its examples but one might look at the massive releases of methane/carbondioxide from permafrost in russia/canada etc. Dark forests growing, dark water pools forming...dead areas with no animal life not having snow disturbed for cold to penetrate insulating snowpack... I mean this is just one that will contribute to a massive average temp rise. The thing that the IPCC covers is just carbon emissions from human affairs, they arent even looking at the current feedback loops that they are worsening. Some scientists are working on ways to fix them but some require removing heat from the planet which is impossible to date. the question we must ask ourselves is, how much destruction do we want? Our activity ending as carbon emitters is just the first step in mitigating extinction of most mammallian life on the planet. Sea life is already encountering MASSIVE dead zones...everyone seems to think the technology that caused this will save us....yet the money to do this has yet to materialize even in R&D as it would cost the wealthiest people and nations much to even begin to competently tackle something with such risks.

To what data do you refer? Computer models which have been continually manipulated to support global warming , and even then they have been unable to create a model that supports the global warming ......THEORY. Yes , THEORY. Climate change is most definitely happening. It just isn't a significant contributor to climate change , and certainly does not support the pseudo science , lies , and outright censorship that is utilized to prevent you from becoming aware of the solid science that contradicts , if not refutes the greenhouse theory as a being a relevant contributor to warming. Also consider this , if you are working on a PHD in any area related climate-change , you will get NO GRANT to produce a thesis disputing the global warming narrative. The progressives control that as well. Do some research on "Agenda 21" there is a UN document about the objectives of agenda twenty one. Read it!. They are not even trying to hide it. They believe we are chattel , and too stupid to have a say in who runs the show. The captains of industry , at the beginning of the industrial revolution knew they would require a huge manufacturing base to supply the coming demand. So both they and the major religious groups promoted heavily , large families. They demonized those that chose not to marry or procreate. That is why the population explosion took place, and the incomes grew rapidly , to make large families do-able for a much larger slice of the population . They also knew that at some point in the future manufacturing would be automatized , and that when that began to take place 60 to 70% of the world population would be in the manufacturing , and those jobs where going to go away and never comeback. They would be responsible for supporting this population as by then, they would control such a large percentage of the worlds hard assets. They DON'T WANT TO SHARE ! The one percent has been enjoying "God status" for too long to be the slightest bit interested in giving the bulk of it to support a no longer needed manufacturing. Nor transportation of goods and services. Trucking industry..Taxi's , your right to operate a motor vehicle , all will taken over by robotics and automation. There are soo many programs underway to facilitate population decrease it would blow your mind. Sterilization, the water system , disease , famine , GMO foods , concentration camps , (FEMA) , E-bola , (Among numerous others) , Microwave technologies, To name just a few. The homeless have been vanishing nationwide for several years , all media reporting refuse to report on these disappearances, control of the internet.

@Nick Hanlon We live in abstract, virtual worlds -- in abstractions, removed from the Natural World. Those who see Glaciers melting year to year from at least 1940 (in Switzerland) will believe data that supports what they see with their own eyes. In the permafrost regions of Canada, Alaska, and Siberia the people see their roads become warped and twisted from the melting. They can see and hear a cliff-face of permafrost melting and disintegrating right in front of them. In Australia half of the "Great Barrier Reef" died in only two years from warmer seas -- in 2016 & 2017. We have a seven year drought, the worst in recorded history. Australia usually exports wheat, but we had to import wheat in 2018. (We have plenty of coal -- our Government's solution is to export coal instead. A huge new Coal Mine was recently given permission to proceed. This was an Election Issue in April 2019 -- that is how people voted, although the media was extremely biassed. I would yell "FIRE!' but our theater has no exit. The positive feedback loops have started. It is to late to do anything. The Exxon scientist saw this during the 1980's. If I was the CEO of Exxon at that time I would have done just what he did. The best we can do is to maintain social stability as long as possible. The forces of nature are in place and beyond our control. Just three too hot and or too wet or too dry springs and food for billions of people disappears. We humans have enjoyed @ 10,000 years of stable weather. That window for agriculture is closing. Soon, world food production will fail. When do we plant our corps? Any culture is three days of hunger from disintegration. There is no place to migrate to. Where are you going to go? Scientist are not politicians, theologians, philosophers, or poets. Their knowledge of or use of rhetoric to warn of our situation is at best poor. It is now clear that homo-hubris-sapiens are about to disappear. Our society is just another about to disappear. Nothing new here, this is quite natural. We humans are just part of a natural cycle. Any scientist can tell you this. But no politician will or can tell you the truth. Dictator or democrat; no politician can, will, or should tell us these obvious facts regarding our habitat. The human response to climate change seems like the human response on Easter Island as they were cutting down their last tree. They thought their god's were more important than their trees. Then they learned that their god's could not create trees. We think that profit and finical growth are more important than the environment. To the economist the environment is extraneous to our economy. We are about to learn that profit and finical growth can not create living organisms. The god's of profit and finical growth have made us blind to the absurdity of cutting down the last trees on our island. I have passed through a morning period. I am embracing my death. I try to love all I see. In my view it is too late to "do" anything. Our day has passed. Just for the record, I have spent most of the last 25 years wandering about in the wildernesses of the Colorado Rocky's, the highlands of Northern California, Maui, and my beloved Central California Coast. I could do this because to get food all I had to do was go to town. When there is plenty of wild life, living off the land is very difficult. My hat is off to our ancestors. We are looking at the collapse of habitat for all manuals as well as fish, birds, and vegetation. There will be no "living off the land." I have been hungry in the wilderness. Lethargy and weakness take over. Every action takes great effort. It appears to me to be a hard death. But perhaps no more difficult a death than those who have gone before us. It is as if the spector of death has appeared at our party. Everyone at the party sees it. No one admits it at first. A few whispers, that's about it. A rumor of the spector begins to spread. A rumor that everyone at the party can see and does see. It is clear that the spector of death has not come for a particular person but this time has come for everyone at the party; including our pets. As the last grocery store closes I plan to be wandering up a unnamed stream. Into the unknown I go as we all must. Good Luck to You. ALL THE BEST

Thank you for this important documentary. I am one of those people who think we have passed the point of no return (PONR) for Homo Sapiens and alas the bulk of multi-cellular organisms on the planet. There are so many catastrophic wheels that have already been set in motion by Man and cannot be stopped. They could perhaps be slowed down but the end-result is the same. So many positive feedback loops will soon kick in, a few probably already started, and then all is basically lost. This is not pessimism or lack of hope on my part. It is only honest realism. Look at the actual science and study it, don't just watch a bias video. I've watched many vpro videos over the years. Although vpro has highlighted many aspects of Climate change. VPRO has not done any documentaries on the subject of "Geoengineering" A technology that rivals Nuclear weapons in it's scope of use and destructive effects upon all things living. All the current technologies that are being employed in Geoengineering. Are employed in and used by varied Governments around the world. The United States being the creator of Geoengineering technologies. Named "Stratospheric Aerosol Injection" Commonly known as "Chemtrails" Using "Nano Polymer Technology" aerosols composed mainly of Aluminum compounds to manipulate weather over large regions. "Weather Warfare" if you the reader would care research that very subject. The same Aluminum compound precipitates down to ground, In turn getting into the soil, water and permeates the very air you breath. A slow death if you will. The goal of "Stratospheric Aerosol Injection" is to spray 10 to 20 million pounds of aerosolized Aluminum compounds into the stratosphere. With a stated goal to "Cool the planet" Do to ever increasing global temperatures. The only thing that has rapidly occurred over the past 15 years as the Geoengineering technologies matured is. A proven trail of environmental destruction. The death of numerous insects, specifically bee populations all over the world. Numerous other aquatic insects. Varied tree species, specifically Pine trees in the Northern latitudes. The current fires in California, USA, The fierceness, speed and destruction in which took place recently in Paradise, California, USA Over 1000 people missing and or dead. With the repeated and daily "Stratospheric Aerosol Injection" the aluminum accumulates on the surface of where ever it lands. That same aluminum acts as a fuel source to accelerate the burning of anything than can burn. Hence the speed at which these fires have spread and high degree of destruction. The list of harmful and negative effects upon all things living. Humans, plants, animals, insects. The associated diseases from toxic metal ingestion from the air, food and or water. Just from aluminum alone. There are numerous toxic compounds being utilized under the guise of Geoengineering. In the past 15 years. Lung Cancer is the number one killer of adults in the USA. People in their 30's and up, are showing up in increasing numbers with terminal lung cancer. Why such a rapid change??? Heart disease and stroke are now a distant 4th and 5th place. This occurring in the past 15 years. a recent quote from the "World Health Organization "Air pollution is the new tobacco".. Geoengineering and the toxic compounds it employs. Aluminum, Barium, Strontium, Fly Ash and over 40 toxic compounds. Are in large part, responsible for the increased Morbidity and Mortality around the world for the increase in Pulmonary and Neurological diseases related to toxic metal particulate ingestion. Alzheimer's disease, etc. In short, Global Geoengineering Activities is killing everyone and everything on Earth, in a slow and protracted manner. SO VPRO, YOU HAVE THE BASIS TO DO AN INVESTIGATIVE DOCUMENTARY ON THE SUBJECT OF "GEOENGINEERING" AND ALL OF ITS EFFECTS ON THE LIFE ON EARTH. Your silence on this very subject, is your indictment of complicity in the continued propaganda. You want man made climate change to markedly decrease. Then stop the global Geoengineering Mass Murder of the earth and all things living.

From the online book (page 142) "ANOTHER WORLD IS POSSIBLE" on Ecohumanworld web site Nature does not exist because of us, but we are like all other beings created because of certain needs in nature itself. If the need for our presence on this planet passes, it will also pass away the creature that has existed because of those needs - the human being. Nature is the ultimate master of this planet. She creates life and ensures that never fails. Its laws are still present, the only real and permanent functioning. They are the foundations of existence, are the nature itself. Existential justification is a one-time gift of nature, an opportunity that allows all in the context of the natural laws to survival. Who consciously or unconsciously ignored these laws, disrupts their balance and harmony, must expect that sooner or later his right to existence on this planet runs out. Also we are no exception.

that is true, the warming comes from more water on the planet causes parabolic heat, it keeps the sun focused on the water, reflective energy heats, and melts glaciers in exponential, expect a day, no one expected all goes under a tsunami when water walls burst, this is actually a coming ice age, earth heats up when it cycles, also strangely to the ignorant, the new moving mountains will bring desertification, no one is safe it is hot in space also, weather comes from space, the few companies who sell coal will profit since clean burning coal appliances exist, a new economy will arrive when people once more farm nearby, all transportation will halt, many governments will go down in history as liars, already democracy has collapsed in a race to control losses, and save own families, even in this film, when no one listened the scientists turned to how to save own families, save yourselves, move away from water, in one decade the death toll will only have begun to be mentioned, but still stay unseen, ancients had zero children during glaciation, they instead moved if they knew what was coming.... stay tuned to weather abroad, it is your news in headlines repeated soon!

I see very little interest from RU-vidrs after two weeks. This says much about people, AND about their lack of conviction that global warming is happening, or is their fault. The earth's climate has never stopped changing. But to mitigate global disasters should be a priority of powerful governments. Rebuilding after floods, landslides etc. would create industries, commerce, and wealth. (And perhaps give global arms industries something better to do!)

In response to the Indian from Bangladesh who keeps asking, 'what makes people want more, why aren't they satisfied with a single date farm, why do they have to have green lawns like Europeans'? Hello doctor, hello, people just want the good life, that is what they want but we have an unsustainable population on earth and earth cannot support 8 billion lunatic consumers, get it? Let me tell you something, I do not want to continue to decrease my life year after year so another billion humans can land on the planet to consume their brains out and pollute everything. Deal with that, we can have a sustainable civilization with 1.5 - 2 billion, everybody can live a good life without destroying the ecosystem of earth. You think that is wrong? you think that no number of humans are too much? Then you are living in a fantasy world!

To my knowledge and belief's yes us humans who are so ignorant and shellfish and we have taken Nature for granted why for our fame and fortune and how greedy humans can be so now Nature has decided to show us all what's going to happen because Nature is like us humans it is a living environment of beauty for our enjoyment of life but nobody wanted to listen or to see what we have done to our beautiful world and that taking Nature for granted there is consequences for humans behaviour is my point

I think this is good news. Human's are selfish, violent, dishonest, cruel, greedy, and a few more things. Think of the amazing amounts of suffering humanity has caused itself and other creatures. We won't ever change so let's just get out and give existence some relief. I have no regrets. I don't like what humanity is and I realized all this in 1970. I've just been waiting for it to play out. I did not procreate nor did I seek the things "successful" adults do in a materialist culture. So it's going to be a lot easier to go than to stay for this pilgrim.
