The IMF helps countries tackle the challenges of climate change.
Through its Resilience and Sustainability Trust (RST), the IMF plays an increasingly important role in helping countries with limited room in their budget address long-term challenges, including climate change.
Rwanda is the first African country to reach an agreement with the IMF on support from the RST, which Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva notes will help the country’s climate strategy deliver on ambitious objectives and catalyze more financing.

I'm speaking for everyone when I say I admire the work being done in Rwanda. It's like they're setting the pace for Africa!

how can it go up in terms of currency? should manipulation of state enterprise income, taxes, grants, etc print as much money as possible and then make loans to other countries, order people to invest in other countries, buy natural resources belonging to other countries, conduct research, etc. giving the benefits of its state-owned private company, opening a branch office in each of the company's countries, how can the population be larger but the currency is higher, they should definitely need basic needs, health, infrastructure, pay salaries of officials, purchase military equipment and procure military equipment, etc., did the worldbank and imf carry out investigative inspections regarding fictitious profits of state enterprises, taxes and grants of a country, etc

Rwanda is rich in minerals needed for the a transition from carbonbased energy supply due to being situated next to the Congos mines. That's pretty much all you need to know to understand why the global capital is being invested into Rwanda. It's a mining boom with local industry attached.. Also, transportation from Rwanda to global trade is already in place, and can be expanded easily if needed. Labour is cheap. I mean. It's a dream come true for any investment, right?

Why is it always about the economies? Not once did I hear about the rampant deforestation, that is a huge driver as to why people are experiencing droughts and desertification. Restore the natural landscape through permaculture and water harvesting and learn sustainable forest management and the economy will thrive alongside nature. Electric cars aren't going to plant trees and save the environment. God I hate these climate change goons
