This year The Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization is celebrating the 80th anniversary of the legendary songwriting partnership. In 1943, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II changed musical theatre history forever when their first collaboration, Oklahoma!, debuted on Broadway. A milestone in the development of the American musical, it also marked the beginning of the most successful partnership in Broadway musical history, and was followed by Carousel, South Pacific, The King And I, Cinderella and The Sound Of Music. Collectively, the Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals have earned Tony, Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, Pulitzer, and Olivier Awards.

I sang this to my daughter while she was in the NICU immediately after birth. She’s now home; safe, sound and healthy and I’m still singing it to her. She’s my rainbow and my dream, and will have all the love I can give - everyday of my life, for as long as I live.

I play this for my 3 month old baby and sing along. It gets my voice froggy and shakey everytime, thinking about how he's got his whole life ahead of him, ups and downs. He senses something's different in that moment and just observes. Anyhow, thanks for facilitating this kind of moment with him.

Not a fan. Very talented. But i was expecting some resemblance of the familiar song. This is nothing like it. I would’ve enjoyed it much more if it had a different title.
