I'm so glad these tips were helpful! 😀Walking down stairs is much more challenging for your quadriceps. It has to work eccentrically. I would recommend three things: 1. continue strengthening your quadriceps with the exercise in this video. 2. massage (or foam roll) your quadriceps. Often knee pain is due to a short rectus femoris which pushes the knee cap into the joint space, massage will loosen this tension. 3. practice The Z ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-grk-mahTes4.html if your knee tolerates it. All this being said, I'm not a doctor and I haven't had a chance to assess you personally, so these recommendations might or might not work for you. If in doubt, consult a physician for a diagnosis of your pain. That's always a good place to start. Good luck! 🤗
Hi Fahiima, thanks for watching. You can definitely do this exercise even if you've had a knee replacement, as long as the surgery was more than 6 month ago. But whether it will help you with your knee pain is a slightly more complicated issue. After such a major surgery there can be other factors contributing to pain. But doing this won't hurt you. It will still strengthen the muscles around the joint, which will help take pressure off the joint. Hope this helps.
