Excellent video, very informative. I really like the set-up outside with nature sound, but you should invest in a wireless mic system to talk to the camera from that far away.

Hey Glen, as usual, very thoughtful content informed by your expertise and experience. Thanks! I wanted to add something to this: polyester for accessory cord for use in slings, cordelettes, and friction hitches. Personally, I much prefer it over nylon. A number of companies make accessory cord for climbing from polyester and is it similarly rated to nylon accessory cord of the same diameter. Here is why i like it: it is more flexible than nylon of the same diameter. It feels more supple and so it grips better in friction hitches. Knots cinch down super tight so they end up smaller than the equivalent knot in nylon. It is also very abrasion resistant. In short length applications, where the dynamic quality of the cord is a non issue, I would prefer to use polyester in place of nylon accessory cord...that is when I am not using dyneema :)

Are you sure that the last rope is nylon outside and aramid inside? All ropes are made aramid outside for cut resistant and nylon inside for shock absorbing....
