I have no idea how the porters do this! Their strength and stamina is incredible. I’d love to climb Kilimanjaro one day but I’d need to prepare heavily beforehand! Well done you guys! This is a really well edited video
Thank you Ella, that was so kind of you to say! We did train for a few months prior mostly legs (lunges and squat!) haha We had such an incredibly beautiful week and it honestly turned out to be the best week of our lives!
Wow, thank you so much for your kind comment! Thank you, we really appreciate the compliment, we just enjoy the process of filming and making these videos for our own memories!
They truly are! Honestly, it was quite amazing seeing how hard they work for each hiker to make it up the mountain, they really need to be recognized and valued so much!
Congrats guys - you did it! Hakuna Matata 💥💯 My pulse is up and I`m just sitting here with my morning coffee.....but I know, this one I`ve done. This is one of my top 3 Rocks on the planet.
@@TheConsciousDreamers @trailtalestravel Thank you very much for replying to the comment. Whenever you start a short solo trip of 4-5 days, Moses Peak is a must. It is a 5300m height۔ from the top of moses pea which you can see the views of the K2 world second highest peak in the world, Nangaparbat, K6 k11 and K 12 views in one frame. best time from May to October. This is a family tracked.
They make the trip at least 2x per month. Unfortunately they only make around $4usd per day and sometimes companies don’t even pay them their salaries. It broke our hearts tbh.
What an amazing experience. A testament of perseverance, commitment, and courage to make a goal come true. But the best is that you did it together. Great video recording all the progress. Hakuna Matata!
After you summit you hike down ~4 hours to base camp. Rest for 2 hours. Then hike down another 4 hours to about 3K meters of elevation. Spend the night and then hike like 4-5 hours all the way down. Hope it helps
Nice Video, I am planning to next month can you please suggest me if it advisable to use FOREX card in Tanzania or better to carry dollars for expenses. Thank you
There are some ATMs around so we used those. We didn’t really carry too many dollars but they can come in handy. I’d do a little bit of both if I were you. Cheers
Well, Matterhorn is on a different level. To climb Matterhorn you actually need to know how to climb, and more importantly, how to descend which many times proved to be deadly.
