I’ll be there in August, just before Obon holiday. I got round trip on JAL, 7 nights in a four-star hotel, with breakfast buffet, for $2,300! The Yen is still fairly weak, too and probably won’t appreciate that much until I go-hopefully.

It's basically FREE now! Just blink and you are there, stay in nice Hotels for almost Nothing, eat free food and don't pay to ride the trains... Hell, $50- will probably cover you for two full weeks! 😄
