Even though these may be the ‘easiest’ Munro in the area, it still makes for a challenging trip & every mountain can be difficult depending on conditions.. Thanks for watching 🏔 Stay Safe, James

An excellent well framed and commentated documentary as usual. I do find myself comparing the well worn routes of today to those more pristine of 50 years ago. Of course most have cars now making access easier but less so then. Car parks now whereas before you drove into a ditch to park and hoped the car hadn't sunk by the time you returned if you could find it if the cloud and mist rolled in unexpectedly. Lighter kit that breathes now instead of being in a portable sauna and of course it was quieter back then. Some things are easier now and possibly more predictable but the climbs are still as tough save a small allowance for the well worn paths. I wonder what the next 50 years will bring, more path erosion for sure and lots of repair work needing to be done but hopefully still open and free to all to enjoy this glorious and rewarding pastime.

Thanks Glen 😁 I bet there has been some big changes over the last 50 years, as you say it will be interesting to see how it progresses.. it seems to only be getting more popular! I wonder why 😂🤔 Thanks for watching, Cheers, James

Cool to see someone a similar age to me bagging the Munro’s- although you’ve overtaken me, I’m stuck on 143. Great video pal.

Just west of the top of Toll Creagach, I saw an osprey below me in Glen Affric. It flew up the hill towards me, struggling in the wind. Incredibly, it passed right in front of me, at eye-level. When it got to the cliffs above Loch Mullardoch, it held its wings out straight . . . and shot up like a rocket! After just a few seconds, the osprey was a tiny dot in the sky. Clever bird, it must have known instinctively -- or from experience -- where to get that updraft.

Snow-free summits at 1112 metres in February is pretty grim. Love the Glen Affric hills. Good vid, man!

Hi James. Wonderful video. This one really resonates with me. A couple of years ago now my Dad and I spent a week in the highlands and we rented a cottage in the near by village of Cannich. These two mountains were our first two Munro’s and we did the exact same route as you. Glen Affric is just a stunning part of the world. We also do the complete Loch Affric circuit. Thank you so much for sharing your day as always. 😀🥾⛰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

James excellent video I did these Munro’s when I did a full round of all the Munro’s on the loch Mullardoch round In 2021 and had a difficult decent from the last Munro back to the dam where my car was parked it was murder check the round out on my channel it’s called “Munro Bagging Again April 2021” but all the Munro’s in that area are superb keep the videos coming as living in South Wales it’s an even longer drive for me to those hills take care

Another great video James. Just arrived back at work in Senegal 🇸🇳 but after watching this, I already can’t wait to get home and get back up the hills 😊. I did these as part of my longest day on my Munro bagging quest - Loch Mullardoch 12 😵. No Beluga Lagoon this time?

Thanks James. Brought back some good memories of the area although these are two of the few I haven’t done in Affric. Best memory was a wonderful Mullardoch backpack in 2004. I finished on 220 but had done 200 by 2007 . Never intended to finish them anyway ; did many repeats and 50 odd Corbetts too but too much discomfort from toes, shins and COPD from Long Covid so it’s all over for me.
