this video is a clinical case of an articular branch block of the shoulder joint. This clinical case and technique are based on our original article. She is 82 years old and has had chronic intractable right shoulder pain. On physical examination, she showed a capsular pattern of limitation and pain.
technique brief description; Put the patient oblique supine position. Putting the support to the back would help her stay easy. Find the notch between the clavicle and scapular spine through gentle palpation. with the help of AP view, and Y view, I can approach the needle to the articular branch of the suprascapular nerve and superior nerve to the subscapularis.
