I disagree with your general overview of her, she has good experience and depends on what aspects you disdain.. Age gaps have always been the thing especially from the earlier days, a 40 year old woman is very different to a 45 year old man... She's biologically far mature in relative terms and needs a more mature dude because his eyes would sooner be on a younger lady.. It was never any different except the childish 30 year old lady who thinks dating is about age mates will continue to call men babies when that's what they go for! You alone are responsible for your choices.

Right. At that age they’re going to do what they want to do anyway. Yes, give advice and let them bump their heads as long as they aren’t in danger.

And this is how we ended up in the current climate of dating and marriage we’re in today. 18 is the age the WORLD says one is an adult. 25 is when the frontal lobe is closed and a human truly reaches adult levels of thinking and making good decision. Now, are their exceptions to the rule of those who are mature who’ve make some good decisions? Yes. However today there is a culture of young ppl making really bad decisions that follow them the rest of their lives greatly changing the trajectory of their life. Between the ages of 18 to 25 is growth time of getting direction from parents while learning how to be accountable and how to fully handle responsibilities that will usher in true adulthood.

As for her and her house, that's what they do. Some kids listen to their parents because sometimes parents know best. A 20-year age difference is absolutely grooming, especially at 21. Brandy was definitely groomed.

Exactly so because they think it is schoolmates dating games.. Same age, same makeup.. Dating boys they made and complain about them. Sheer childishness!

The problem is independent had nothing to do with a man. We all should be independent. I mean does a man want a dependent? I think the term itself has a negative connotation and women use it as a flex. We have to learn balance. Society has changed and we have to adapt to that. I’m 55 and I just had this conversation with some 20+ year old coworkers. They’re doing it all. They have boyfriends/husbands, degrees, holding down jobs and planning families. I’m traditional to an extent but I also understand that we must evolve. No need to talk down on either gender, just find your person

I'm not knockin women independence, I'm all for it, like you mentioned, we should all be independent. But you also mentioned 'balance', which you are right. Balance is key but the problem like I mentioned is society. Society's swing from conversative to liberal is extreme. Society affects all aspects of life and therefore if society is extreme (not balanced) then as a whole we are not balanced which leads to many issues, one being overly independent women, less secure men and so on. My point is our society is a large part of the problem BUT.. there are factors that influence our society which cant be overlooked, which makes this a layered problem, which is what I stated.

I think what you stated sounds absurd, and immature however I will say men will side eye you if you have more than one child as far as ( your value) as you would put it.

I don't think anyone should get married in their 20s. You are still immature and do not know yourself. I got married at 20 and now I'm divorced. You think you know everything at 20 but you don't. You are just getting started. 30s and 40s is a good age to get married. You know more about yourself and what you want.

@@matti.972 you do realize the whole purpose of marriage is to establish legitimacy of bloodlines, you can't merge bloodlines with older women, so in actuality marrying a older woman is pretty much a fool's errand 🤷🏾‍♂️
