I liked mine when i had them and I didn't have trouble caring for them, I really treated like the rest of my hair didn't do anything excessive , I guess different strokes for different folks 😊❤
sammeee been doing mine since 11 and i LOVE it. i even let them grow out when i was 13 just to see if i like that more but no it just fits my face so much and i’ve been cutting them every 6 months or so since🫶
Same! Since i was 14 as well n im now almost 22 n i have never grown them out or messed em up except for the very first couple times, even then they weren't terrible.
I cut my own bangs like 3 or 4 years ago at this point, they looked odd at first but I learned how to style them and now they're fine lol. I don't look as good without bangs 😅 it's my face shape probably

I have curly hair and i always regret getting my bangs cut from professionals,they always ruin it.....but then i cut them myself and it turned out so much better
Been cutting all kinds of styles and bangs on myself since I was 13, when I get tired of them I let them grow out to curtain bangs and after that it blends with the rest of your hair. Never once regretted cutting my hair, there's always a way to tweak and style if something gets a little too short/bent/straight/whatever. I feel like a really good thing to do is encourage young people to experiment when they're young so it's stops being this holy matter, and so you actually know what you look like in different styles before they cut it.
nahh ive been cutting my bangs consistently for three years. when it grows out everytime i start to miss them lmao. just some tips if you are gonna diy, alwayss cut on wet hair and don’t cut too many strands in case you don’t like them.
I’ve had bangs since I was born and I’m getting sooo tired of them. I wanna just let them grow out but the process is so ugly. Planning on clipping my bangs to the side and putting clip on bangs everyday until my bangs are finally long enough 😂
Try to braid your bangs in different styles and play a little with hair clips, tiaras, headbands and scarfs, even ribbons are a nice option to try! I used to inspire my searches to new hairstyles with bangs in medieval styles that are so sweet and simple 😊
I cut bangs over a year ago in August 2022... I didn't regret it. In fact, I kept trimming them again every couple months. For me the key is to cut the bangs but leave them a bit long and layer some framing side pieces around your face (just by cutting diagonally at the shorter hair around your face) so that your bangs easily blend into the rest of your hair and don't look too severe. This way, you can have a curtain bang moment which more versatile than short, straight-across bangs. The length is long enough to not look too noticeable if you're scared of straight across bangs, but also long enough to do a side swept moment or style into a wavy middle part that doesn't even look like you have bangs, or even clip them back on hot days or if you regret bangs some days. But there's usually a lot less regret if you get longer, wispier (not too thick) curtain bangs. 😊
I think it would look sleeker if you lifted one section of the front of your, then clipped the bangs onto the hair you didn’t move, before letting go of the other section of the hair that you previously moved out of the way. That way you see the bangs but it still blends 😊
bangs are so high maintenance whether your hair is straight or curly and the grow out phase is ALWAYS awkward I did it a lot when I was younger but never again 😭 also the forehead acne from bangs is crazy.
