What always impresses me are these 🤡 who think they found some gotcha verse or word in the Quran and think they have outsmarted 1400+ years of islamic scholarship. Honestly, it really is kinda hilarious that these people, including the atheists, think that they're doing something new and groundbreaking when Quran has already singled out these kind of activities and people multiple times. For example, all this LGTB etc. thing that's been going around for over a decade now has already been dealt with in Hazrat Loot's time. And the Quran never address Christians as Christians مسيحيون but Nashoro نصارى So I think it is permissible to say that not for mocking
Christianity is the belief that Jesus was crucified, and it's one of the distinction points between what we muslims and the christians believe about the same figure. We muslims are not supposed to believe in the word 'Christianity' in the first place (the notion that Prophet Isa was crucified, claimed to be Son of God, etc.), because we don't believe that the prophets claimed their teachings as theirs, but instead revelations from the One True Creator, let alone claiming to be Son of God. So yeah, it's wrong what you implied about Christianity is what Prophet Isa preached. But still, it doesn't mean we can just go anywhere and make fun of another beliefs because Allah clearly forbid us from doing so. May Allah guide us all.

Genuine question, not meant to offend you guys. Why do modern day Quran's translate surah 5:82 as "who call themselves Christians" and what would be the correct translation that muslims use.
I'm Tunisian I speak Arabic and people now days think our currently easy arabic is the same arabic of the Quran and people in west don't know that even Arabic people when they want to learn about the Quran or to recite it we should take a special classes to understand it with it's Arabic that even non Muslims arabs in time of the prophet pbuh were amazed by it..
It doesn't matter they love, hate or gaining benefits but They couldn't live without Islam. the deep research they do about al-Quran and Hadith, i wish & hope, also urges from the bottom of my heart they do that about their own scripture. if not; at least read, please read your scripture fully. May Allah swt guide us all to the straight path Insha'Allah, amin.
