i think the issue with Clippers is always healthy, in december they looked like a real contender, beating teams by double digits, showing heart at hard games, i think they need a coach who can make them play unselfish basketball to preserve themselves through the regular season, and maximize the bench talent

LAC and Philly are the two teams that always flatter to deceive. Both those teams have common elements - superstars (Kawhi, Embiid) who are perennially injured and GMs (Frank, Morey) who are good at blowing smoke. Lawrence Frank should get fired because he has been GM of the Clippers for years and the team's future is sadly doom. 1 Traded away SGA for PG13 was a horrific decision. 2 Giving 3 years contract to Kawhi is clearly a mistake. The guy is always injured and never available when it matters most. 3 PG has already passed his prime and mentally I think he is no longer care about winning. You still want him back? 3 Harden is old and a no show in the playoffs, and you still want to bring him back? There is no way in hell that this roster can compete with the young and enthusiastic teams like the OKC, Wolves, and Nuggets. Steve Ballmer should hire Bob Myers.
A lot of y’all that keeps talking about blow up the team don’t understand business y’all speaking out of emotion and I get it five years and still no championship with Kawhi and George due to injury but they just acquired James Harden. if he decides to stay, then they have the opportunity to build more chemistry on top of the fact, they just brought in Kai jones the guy everyone been desperately wanting to add to the clippers. If they blow up the team now it’s going to take maybe five years to build a decent roster plus another 5 to 6 years to possibly win a championship. A great prime example OKC, Minnesota, just a few look, how many losses it took for Toronto before they won Unlike the Lakers, the Clippers are still not everybody’s first choice to go to unless they’re chasing behindBalmer’s money.
I heard that the general manager and Ty Lue have different opinions in what is the best lineup for our team team. Losing Hartenstein, and Luke has really hurt our offense. Norm been hurt, PG been hurt, Russ is better as a starter than coming off the bench. Harden been hurt, and Kawahi, injured and disappointment. This is my starting team for next year. Bones, Boston, Kobe Brown, Kai Jones, and Zu. Athletic, big, and hungry for success
Many teams could say the issue is being healthy: Bucks, Celtics(porzingis), 76ers, Heat(jimmyB), Clippers, . Being healthy has a lot to do with depth over an 82 game season. The clippers had rebounding and transition defense issues. Yes they have Zubac but then Dallas went small and hunted him. Teams have to be healthy and able to adjust to opponents defense. You cant beat the Twolves by going big, you have to make that long defense come out to the perimeter and Zubac cant do that. They need a PF who can shoot the 3, defend, and run in transition. Maybe they can get Batum back. It will be difficult to bring new talent in with the new CBA.
ive watched most of the clippers games i know weve been winning some games BUT i gotta say i saw way too much isolations... like... u cant expect to keep winning with 1on1s...

You never hit a man when he is down. We don’t know the details of Leonard’s injury. After all he has been playing for the Clippers and if his injury is a compilation of injuries. To be honest, Kawhi has been consistent with his duties when on the floor. I have never seen him not give 100% and he has put up points, rebounds, steals and defend the elite players of other teams. Oh how easily we forget. As fans we need to be patient and considerate. I want the best for Leonard’s health first of all. If they keep say the guy had inflammation and nothing is controlling the inflammation, what do you want Leonard to do? Broke a leg! Anyone in their right mind would put their health first. As a fan, I am not going to scapegoat this on Kawhi! The West is tough and the teams played us to their advantage with Kawhi not able to be on the floor. I will say and I could be wrong, I feel as though we got fatigued and just gave up. In losing I would have preferred the mentality that the Clippers should have worn down the Mavericks so that even though they won it was a dog fight where both teams crawled of the floor licking their wounds. But, we allowed them boys to shoot lights out two games on a stretch. I give credit to the Lakers because even though they loss, they put a bruising on the Nuggets. That bruising cause them game 1 with the Timberwolves and that goes without taking anything away from that team. Also, whatever beef the players have with each other you guys need to squash because it is spilling over on the court like when you and your significant other not seeing eye to eye. Not only is it unprofessional but it is petty! Coaches need to stop being complacent and start sweating; do you jobs. Mr. Balmer need to invest in a motivational speaker to help the players figure out there identity. Hope the best for the following season and Leonard do well with your healing and enjoy representing your country; you deserve it!
I kind of agree. One thing about Kawhi, is that like Russ, he gives it all WHEN he plays. And, he's energized by competition unlike PG and Harden. Minimum criteria should be competitive drive. Kawhi, Russ, T Mann, Zubac, even Coffey.
If we could get Bogdan Bogdanovic and Clint Capela for Russ and Zu it would be a perfect deal for the clippers. What we need is a defensive anchor and some shooters, Bogdan and Clint would be able to offer that
