I agree, but they seem to prefer being in the background and having Daveed be the face of the act. They're conspicuously absent from most videos and visuals, that seems deliberate.

Pretty sure they both work in soundtracks and that brings some great elements to the music. They really shine in songs like He Dead, gave me chills when I first heard it.

I hate to speak for the artist, but this seems to be(to me) a song about being proud, even militantly proud of who you are, specifically for black folks. He's basically talking about how the black movement has waited long enough to rise the fuck up.
