Letsgooooo, thank you so muchj ! Next content can you make regular hoodie? Like hoodie streetwear?
@digitalfashionblender
@digitalfashionblender Год назад
I'm sure by the end of this bomber jacket series you will know how to make a hoodie! Use the same approach and search for a basic hoodie pattern reference online. Make sure to use a knitted fabric preset for the simulation and use the layer clone over technique to add some external pockets! I think it should be easier than this jacket good luck and hope it goes well :)

The video was excellent. Could you please provide information on where I can get similar patterns for tracing?
@digitalfashionblender

For this pattern I found it in an image search for a jacket base pattern, I usually look on Pinterest for this type of thing. You can look online for any pattern reference images but make sure to take the ones that look accurate and to scale.

Hii, can you help me? I'm stuck at the beginning when I try to put the jacket on the avatar the message "Please apply the image directly to a pattern" appears. :(
@digitalfashionblender

It sounds like you are working with an image if that is the message you are getting. Are you using a Clo3D avatar? I've only seen this issue when adding graphics to patterns

Would you do the arm the same way if you were to make it again, typically in t-shirts the sleeve is one piece wrapped around?
@digitalfashionblender
@digitalfashionblender 7 месяцев назад
I was making a jacket not a tshirt. The sleeve is 2 pieces - this is standard for jackets and outerwear. I explain this in quite some detail as to why....

Help pleeease! I am stuck at the beginning after adding the avatar and the jacket pattern pieces: the jacket doesn’t snap to the avatar when I press simulation. It doesn’t even take the same position of the arms, the sleeves just hang and ‘fall through’ the arms :(
@digitalfashionblender
@digitalfashionblender Год назад
Are you using the avatar that I uploaded or your own avatar? Sounds like the collisions are wrong or your avatar has the normals flipped. What colour is the avatar when you import it?
@bian5321
@bian5321 Год назад
@@digitalfashionblender I used a V2 male avatar from the Clo library, the V1 I couldn’t find in the list. I will download now your avatar to see what happens. The avatar loads with the skin texture.

Can this pattern be sewn as normal in real life or is this way of working just for digital replication only?
@AyAyBee
@AyAyBee 5 месяцев назад
Nice question, technically it should be based on reality. But I'm not a professional so who knows...
@digitalfashionblender
@digitalfashionblender 5 месяцев назад
The pattern making techniques are accurate, if you work acccuratley and know how to make a pattern. This is not done to spec. so there was no rael world output in mind. If your making real world patterns you need to work to spec.
@georgedarks
@georgedarks 5 месяцев назад
@@digitalfashionblender when you say spec do you mean measurement sheet?
@digitalfashionblender

@@georgedarks yes exactly, I would work from a set of measurements to make a production pattern :)

hey bro really nice tutorial? Would you mind dropping the file to the complete jacket mockup, especially for us beginners who want to experiment, customize, and mess around with the software? Much appreciated mate

@digitalfashionblender Год назад
I think I answered a comment like this before. The reason that I take the time to break everything down step by step is to teach the process - so you can understand how to create and develop your own garments. If I just share the files then you won't learn any of the steps I outline in the video. In the interest of being a good educator I don't share these files. If you want to download other Clo files to look at and experiment with then I would suggest look online at Clo-set there are many garments there to choose from and download for free! style.clo-set.com/
