By the way, is it so necessary to render in Blender over clo? I don't really wanna learn a whole new software from scratch + I'm not quite sure that my laptop can handle rendering in Blender. Is clo still okay for simple images/360 animations on a white background without anything too extravagant? I mean I don't think people gonna see the difference on the screens of their phones...

It depends what you are doing? I dont render ing clo beacuse it has no control over the material creation compared to blender. For this reason the best and most beautifuil reuslt will come from blender compared to clo. I would take the time to learn it - my channel is dedicated to it :) Good luck!

@@digitalfashionblender Thank you for the quick response! So, for instance, if i want to add a fish net (like a large mesh) to my garment (which is very difficult/impossible in clo because there is no such a fabric on the internet) will I be able to do it inside of Blender? or Substance painter is a better solution for that type of problem? Worked with neither of them. However I'll definitely tryna hop onto Blender with your tutorials. Sorry for so many questions mate xd

Hey Digital Fashion blender Thank you So much for provide us a high quality content! Umm can you make How To Texture Some Clothes clo3d and Texture it only on Blender Without Using Subtance Painter, please, im little strugle to achieve high quality texture

You're welcome :) Yes of course - it is on my list of things to do. For using the texturing system inside blender. The approach is similar to substance painter but the set up is quite different inside blender.

@@digitalfashionblender yes please, thank you so much, i really appreciate that, oh yeah, maybe use alternative way using (Bridge & BlenderKit) Texture And Plug On Blender nodes, but why the quality still bad? Can you solve that in videos ?

Another great video! Thank you! Can I ask how do you decide which software to use for the rendering? When do you use clo, blender or substance painter? Thanks!
@digitalfashionblender
@digitalfashionblender Год назад
I usually always prefer blender. It allows me much greater control over the fabrics and materials as well as the render and camera settings. It's rare I render in Clo but sometimes its needed and good knowledge to have. Substance painter I wouldn't use to render, just build the image textures and bring everything to blender for final renders. My Instagram is @niallcottrell all my recent work is rendered in Blender :)

@@digitalfashionblender thank you! Really appreciate your feedback! I haven't been using other 3d softwares as much apart from clo so I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Your tutorials have been super helpful. I'm going to watch all of them and will be following your ig progress as well. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge 🙏😊

Thank you for your tutorial. I have already made my own clothes, but after importing DAZ and Clo3D into BLENDER(i had 100% follow your steps), I found a small amount of clipping. Has this happened to you?
@digitalfashionblender

What do you mean by clipping and where is it visible?

Check that your import settings don't use align bottom to ground when adding tour avatar into Clo3D. I don't usually have clipping issues with this workflow
@NoamWelz

But why is your render so fast? You click it and immediately it shows the render? What settings did you put there to get it that fast?😅
@digitalfashionblender
@digitalfashionblender Год назад
😂 it's because I pause the recording during the render to make the RU-vid video shorter! I do have a good GPU as well so it renders quite quick!
