That was a weird one. My first thought was that this was a sump pump issue but I was surprised to see it was a trap thing and the trap was kind of there. That usually is more in the corners. I knew immediately that this was gonna be roots when you popped that cap off but I was surprised it was not as many as I thought and I wonder if there was a lot more those roots were holding back that when you went in for the 2nd pass a lot of what could have been caught on just whooshed by without catching on.....actually those roots likely helped too on that. Still that was a weird one but a really awesome basement draining in the process. That was similar when the basement flooded my Mom's a few weeks ago and needed a new one with 5 inches of water in there but similar watching it drain fast with the new sump pump in place.
