Recommend getting the line camera to check out the slope of the pipe...that is too much wipes sitting in the line....great job as usual boss.

That's bad how the house is laid out there will always be a back up but you got this. They need to have more lighting in the stair well especially knowing you have to take down equipment. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family 🗽🍎✌❤🎄🤶⛄🎅

Too bad for that homeowner. No matter what, he's going to have to dig deep and pay out big bucks to resolve. Sewage back up will always be an issue.

I had the same issue. Just recebtly had my sewer line and ventilation shaft for the line rebuilt

Good job man! So the owner would have to replace the line from the house to the street with the appropriate fall to get that to drain properly. Do you do stuff like that or mostly drain cleaning. I bet hiring a contractor in NY isn't cheap.

Thanks, no mostly drain cleaning, and homeowner with that problem usually just lives with it or sell as fast as they can 🤣 cause yes it is quite expensive

So the pipe that goes out is slightly lower to the street level(piss poor design then) and they will always have that problem (needs sorting),anyway you cleared it for them plus you got another work out humping your machine up the stairs . Good video have a happy christmas!....

the way i would fix that is to tear out that trap and put one of them septic pumps in where a box fills up and pumps out the waste on a one way valve

All you do is remove the trap and put a straight piece of pipe in its place no pump necessary

Why did you not do the drain that led out of the house first and then come back and do the other line going in the house. Would that have contained everything within the pipe.
