Yes it is easy to do and this time of year is perfect when you have the fresh spring growth. I might clone more myself because I need to prune off a branch.
Thank you! I have a 2 year old newly planted Parfianka Pomegranate in a borderline hardiness zone and I immediately want to clone and all I have is very thin branches. Your video was very helpful 🥰👍
Great video! I learned a lot! Do you have an update on the clones? When is the best time to put it into the ground? I have a pomegranate tree that I badly need to prune and I want to start some clones for my family to have.
That was an excellent video however I subscribed solely for your music selection! Totally just blank doing research and come across your video... Now I'm dancing around. Awesome sauce. Thank you!
whats in the compost tea. Also I heard that pomegranate grow every year only from the new growth from pomegranate tree bush etc. Is that true or does it matter? Also can I get anything from the old cuttings possibly using some other tecniques. HELP just figuring out to get more around my property. Thanks excellent vid.
Compost tea is basically creating a tea with compost or worm castings, then adding a food source to the tea. The beneficial microbes, bacteria and fungi will multiply and supercharges your plants for vigourous and healthy growth. Yes wait till you see new growth because they basically loose all the leaves in winter.
Thanks for sharing. Did you know cuttings don't need the nutrients in the water while it's making roots? A drop or two of bleach in the water will keep it cleaner for longer and this will help it while it's making its new roots.
Do either of you think that adding some soil to the water a few days before planting will help the plant transition from living in water to living in soil?
Yes I will make a video again about compost tea. You can make it with worm castings and compost then add some molasses after 24 hrs. Thats just one recipe. Many ways to make compost tea. Give the compost tea to the newly planted plants. Don't overdo the fertilizer or anything else
You should be able to 100% success rate if you do it right. Each plant needs to be cared for the same way, don't let them dry out or also don't bog them in water too long which could rot the roots starting out.
A compost tea is basically taking a organic source and bubbling it in water while mixing it with a sugar source or food to feed microbes, beneficial bacteria, fungi etc to supercharge your plants health.
I will be making a video on it but basically start with a compost or worm castings, then aerate in a bucket of water, add some mycorrhizal fungi and molasses after 24 hrs. wait 1 or 2 hours and then apply to plants
Cutting of any plant dumped in water hurts the plant by draining it of nutrients. Like for rosemary, they root then die slowly over two months even after being planted to mulch.
so glad that some one loved your music selection. I on the other hand hated it. It was way too loud and your voice was over powered by it; making it hard to hear you.
Music c/b little lower but you did a great job so made it easy to follow. Today I bought a dwarf pomegranite to bonsai & I put all the clippings in water then found your channel. Cant wait to clone! I loved your kitty w/bells. 🐱❤️
