Clone Wars Movie Extended Edition - All Restored Deleted Scenes and Changes

This is all the Restored Deleted Scenes and changes and alterations made to my Clone Wars Movie Extended Edition (2008 Film), now running 2.5 hours with all the extras. The 2 prequel episodes from Seasons 1 and 2 respectively have now been seamlessly cut into the film and restructured with the prologue so we can see the Full battle of Christophsis, and 10 minutes of deleted scenes have been fully recut back into the film. You can see it all here.
A full 4K HDR (and 1080p) upscale of the entire series, also taking all but 9 episodes and recutting them seamlessly into feature films for every single arc. Have a favorite arc? Order 66? The Rako Hardeen Deception Arc? Mortis? The Nightsisters? Yoda's Journey? Maul's Revenge? This project converts the entire TV show into the definitive theatrical experience, perfect for your nice 4K HDR theater setup.
I have also reordered the episodes to fit a (mostly) chronological order based on the entire series official order list. This fixes many, many continuity problems for those who get confused when they watch it in viewing order. There are some minor alterations to the official episode order to make these arcs work as films, but any changes to the official chronological order are small (Putting Maul's Season 4 and 5 arcs into a single epic 3 hour cut, moving the lone episode "A Friend in Need" up a bit in the timeline to fit with the Heroes on Both Sides arc. Making Cad Bane's seasons 1-3 arc into a single supercut). The rest of the alterations follow the official continuity order (2 season 1 and 2 episodes are now part of the extended Clone Wars Theatrical Film Cut due to them being part of the Battle of Christophsis, ect. ect.) and greatly enhance the show's viewing experience.

Yes they are. Chapters 17-19 was Anakin vs Ventress on Yavin 4.

@Prism Projects To be fair, animation and pacing wise, the rancor fight is the roughest scene in the film.

@@themindfulmoron3790 That’s partly because it wasn’t fully finished animation. If you look real closely at around the point when Ventress starts walking towards them with her droids following closely behind her and Anakin and Ahsoka backing up, you’ll notice that Ventress in that scene didn’t get any walking animation as she walks just fine in all the scenes that didn’t get cut in the actual movie. She’s almost floating, kinda sliding up to them lol. This entire scene must’ve gotten cut when they were nearly done with it.

Never thought I’d see the day that someone would go back to the Clone Wars movie and make a genuine effort to restore the deleted scenes. Even though it’s story isn’t the best I still enjoy this movie since it played a pivotal role in introducing us too Ahsoka Tano.

I genuinely like the movie a lot more with all the extended content. It seems silly, but all the extras actually make the scale of the Christophsis campaign more epic, and the deleted scenes are actually pretty fun in this film. Happy to have obliged.

@@MechaSalesman only part of the Deleted scenes I truly found silly was the Rancor falling on Ventress, and then jumping super high up after getting stabbed 😅 With the extra Ahsoka scenes they definitely give her more personality showing her reckless and impulsive behavior, more often than we actually got in the movie itself. A few of Ahsoka’s line deliveries were also pretty corny, but that’s to be expected from what was essentially an extended pilot back in the day.

Wow, rewatching this shows how much the animation has evolved in the final season and the recent Bad Batch! Also, back when Ahsoka was an annoying little brat but now look at her. Everybody including me loves her now!

While there are things I like about the art of even the early seasons, there is no doubt the show's animation has evolved tremendously in 13 years.

She wasn’t an “annoying little brat.” She was just spunky and overconfident and cocky at times, just like a lot of kids IRL. Fans, just like during the PT, were too harsh as always. I always loved her character, from start to finish. She never annoyed me, I actually understood her realistic portrayal of a very young teen and her overall character development and realized she was just a kid at the end of the day, unlike a lot of the older fans. I know many others who’ve enjoyed her movie portrayal too. It’s not “everyone.”

The animation still looked great in the early years of TCW. A lot of the environments, such as Naboo and Christophsis, still look gorgeous and hold up today. All the character models and their movements are also, mostly, solid. Early TCW still looks amazing compared to the average “kid’s cartoon” and was definitely fantastic for it’s time, but yeah, it’s now a flawless masterpiece, visually-perfected at this point, after 13 years. S7 and TBB are the way to go moving forward into the future of glorious Star Wars animation! 💫🤩👌🏼🎨🖌💯💯💯

@@Vandicoup 100% agree. Ahsoka had to be top of her creche class in the Temple for Yoda to think that Anakin would accept her. Ahsoka walked into this movie with all the energy of a gifted kid who's used to being smarter than everyone else. Then the harsh and unfair reality of war hits her hard, which is what makes her grow so much. I just don't get how people didn't also see Ahsoka's kindness and determination even in her first few scenes. She was always exceptional.

Bad Batch Is the First parte of second generation of Skywalker family where we see Ezra, Sabine, Luke and Leia's childhood until Solo a star wars Story, the sequel of Solo a star wars Story, Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries and Darth Vader miniseries when they are 9-12 years Old while in Rebels and Andor are teenagers from 14 to 19 years while in Rogue One and Original Trilogy are young adults from 19 to 23 years

Fight scenes and some extra extended scenes doesn't grantee that it'll make the entire movie better. The movie is still ass with it's many flaws

@@Shizilol Yeah, to you it is. But I still enjoy the movie a whole lot and I know many others do too. It’s still important as it sets up a pivotal introduction to Ahsoka after all. Plus, most of the fighting wasn’t even bad. Especially all the battles on Christophsis and Teth, especially that cliffside sequence, was incredible and badass. No one ever said it was a masterpiece or flawless, but that doesn’t mean we’re not allowed to still enjoy it as simply a fun Star Wars movie as grown adults today. Many fans forget that Star Wars is *for kids too.* The movie’s even more nostalgic and special after having seen the entire TCW journey and now looking back at it. 💝

I think the encounter between Ventress and Anakin was deleted because of the continuity between 2003 clone wars and 2008

Well, it can also retroactively apply to the season 1 episode that was also included in this cut when they fought earlier. Not to mention that the ideas of the microseries are often still fitting within canon even if the exact visual depiction doesn't.

My only issue is the weird music fading between cross-episode cuts. I think maybe in the future it would be better to just silence and re-score the scenes with different audio. The fading is really obvious and it it breaks immersion. Otherwise, this is good stuff.

In several cases that's exactly what's being done, but the nature of the current 5.1 soundtrack or the existing OST doesn't always make that easy, or even possible at all in some cases. It depends entirely on how the original material was released. A few compromises had to be made here and there, but I've both rescored and even restructured the entire audio track for several transitions in the full series projects (not just this movie cut). You can see examples of them in some of the TCW edit clips I've uploaded. It just depends on the specifics of the original material. For exmaple, the original prologue opening in the first 2 minutes is heavily restructured in audio, and visuals, while later transitions sometimes gave me less to work with.

@@MechaSalesman Okay, that's fair. I guess in a few cases you could just outright change the tracks being used to something more ambient, and easier to fade. I am actually pretty impressed with how you did the extended prologue though, well done there.

I've used Deleted Scenes for Episodes I, I, II, IV, Solo, this film, and a small handful of Clone Wars arcs where they were completed animation. I haven't used every deleted scene available, but I have used the vast majority of them in my edits.

The deleted scenes usually come from the Special Edition or Complete Editions on Blueray, although the discs cost a ton now, so best to watch re-uploaded vids on RU-vid

At the time of writing, it was a reference to the battle on Yavin since the show was originally written with the 2003 clone wars series in mind. In retrospect, it now applies to their duel in episode 16, which is also in this cut.

@@beagleboi1442 no. It's considered legends. All star wars media released prior to 2014 (with the exception of episodes 1-6 and 2008 clone wars) are considered legends and thus not canon to the current timeline
