I have new Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Laptop that I will be installing a new NVMe SSD and doing a clone using NTI ECHO Cloning software. Model 15itl6

I use the software that the OEM provides as well Dale, all them offer something. Crucial just gives you a light version of Acronis which is very nice. Crucial is my preferred brand TBH. I just picked up a Dell Inspiron that is sorta like that Lenovo, 11th gen, 8/256, been pretty good so far.

I've been on the fence about Silicon Power brand SSDs; always used Crucial or ADATA since 2014. I'll have to check it out; their cloning software looks promising...

In conclusion: This is basically copying your old SSD data to your new SSD so you can continue like you never switched drives right✅

have always just used macrium...but this looks pretty speedy...might give it a try next upgrade. thanks, have a good one. 👊🏽🇿🇦

Macrium isn't free for commercial use for folks like Dale. But for a home user it's a great way to go.

I have a new Acer Nitro 5 AN515-58 that I want to install a WD Black 850X NVME M.2 drive into. Is there a free CLONING software that you would recommend I use?
