cloning Pepino Melons from Cuttings 

Growing Pepino fruit (melon) is super easy and delicious too. This simple looking fruit smells and tastes very much like a Rockmelon or Cantaloupe.
It is necessary to relocate your plant every few years to prevent pest and disease attack. Also the plant tends to slow down in fruit production after 2 years.
The best way to relocate or renew a plant is cloning, ie, to take cuttings and make clones for replanting. The old plant can then be removed completely.
Using a clean bladed tool, cut a piece of donor plant from a mature branch (5 inches long) with fresh leaf growth.
Store the cuttings in a greenhouse or seedling tent for a couple of months and then replant when roots have appeared.
do this every 24 to 36 months for a lifetime supply of fresh Pepino fruit.
