Just beautiful- no loud electric guitars, jumping around & clapping, yelling or stomping like you see in the modern 'hillsong' style Christian songs.. the lyrics are often true enough but honesty they unnerve me, and never give me peace like these pure, Christ centred traditional hymns do. Often the modern songs are performed in a way that seems to me to be for the glorification of man, rather than his Creator. So praise be to God for gems like this, with which I can wholly worship my God and praise Him for all that He is. I sat with my Jesus and listened to this, tears of joy falling down as I recalled afresh all He has done for me and all He has promised to do. Perfect love casts out fear ❤
All personal preferences. Can we find him in the noise or in the quiet? Some dance with happiness at what God has done for them. Others think long on what he is to them. The important thing is him.

I've been listening to this rendition for months, and I never could stop myself from crying. I'm at my lowest point life right now, I've been struggling with a lot, and the situation doesn't seem to get any better soon. I've thought of ending it all, and many times I questioned whether God listens to my prayers and understands how painful it is for me. One day, a childhood memory comes to my mind, where my grandpa sang this song for me. I tried to look for it, and I found it, your rendition. The moment the song played, I just started crying my eyes out. I just feel so, so sad and broken, and I just want go to heaven and live with God in peace for eternity. I'm crying while typing this I can't stop crying.
