I've also watched this video about 100 myself. I am always amazed with Tristan's talent and his talkbox expertise. Several others have done talkbox versions of this song... but none are as good as Tristan's... not even close.

Drums are the exception; i programmed those. I'm a drummer but sometimes choose to program rather than play a part. I spend a lot of time putting the groove together. @danceryyxc Thank you! Sure, I used a Korg Triton LE for the talkbox part, with a Rocktron Banshee talkbox. For the synth solo in the beginning and in the end I quickly turned on and off a Roland SH-32 virtual analog synth. I had the Korg patch tweaked to give a lot more filter resonance during the bridge, and set so I could switch it. That's why it's more skwawky there. The background track I arranged and played by hand. Thank you for your kind words. ; ) -T

Might I add that there is a level greatness of music, and that you are above that level. I wish to be as good as you are one day, though I'm sure that your talents grow more and more with every song. I don't know how to play piano, but I am going to learn soon in addition to trumpet and french horn. I was going to wait to learn piano a little longer, but seeing this made me want to learn a lot sooner. Keep up the good work.

Hey officialyoungcaz. Thank you! I used a Rocktron Banshee talkbox. I don't think it's a lot better than any others however, and if you can build your own you will probably get great results. An active (amplified) talkbox like the Banshee is probably best if you're a keyboard player. I hope that helps. T
