Ooh gorgeous set of yarn! You are so generous. I would say my favorite yarn weight is fingering weight. Takes forever to knit with, but I love how light weight it is. Plus I've been on a shawl making kick, so maybe these are just my current-temporary feelings until the next project rolls around 😄

This is an interesting question! I used to love worsted weight as a new knitter and crocheter- but now that I’m more experienced, I’m loving working with fingering weight yarn. It has become my new favorite!

I love dyeing fade sets like that! That purple is gorgeous. My favorite weight of yarn to work with is #3 Light Weight/DK. However, I've been doing a lot more with sock weight (#1) yarn as I dye a lot of that weight. It's the weight that also sells the most in my shop. I just recently (about a month ago) taught myself to knit and I'm really liking working with sock weight yarn.

I’ve been working on my first project with fingering weight yarn and have fallen in love with it. I’ve always liked really finely knit sweaters and am now thinking of making my own as I’m feeling a little more confident with the yarn.

My favorite weight to knit with is DK. It's just right. It's not too thin and not to bulky. I also love the drape of it when knitted with larger needles.

I love all weights of yarn. Fingering for socks and baby booties, DK for blankets, worsted for mens beanies, and heavyweight for ladies hats with fur Pom poms. I love it all!❤

I’ve been trying out the Sentro. There are certain 4weights that it definitely does not like. And finger weight yarns come out like a mesh. Double up is better. So I think a light 3weight would be best. That purple mini is gorgeous. Thank you for sharing this wonderful opportunity with us.

I like worsted for sweaters, hats, scarves and gloves. I like fingering for shawls and socks. I’ve only used bulky once and didn’t like it as much. Happy Holidays to everyone!

My favorite yarn is fingering weight for shawls and socks but for gifts lately worsted has been a pretty quick mosaic knit for hats and that has bern very satisfying.

I am a new knitter, so a lot of hats! I’ve been using mostly worsted weight and some bulky. But I am now knitting my first sweater, yay! Next, a pair of gloves, (using your tutorial, of course!)… So, all that said, I think a size 3 or 4 worsted weight would be my favorite. Thank you for your videos!

It really depends on the project and if I'm knitting, crocheting, or tunisian crocheting. For knitting or tunisian I usually use a fingering or sport weight. For crochet I am usually making bags or blankets and most likely using dk.

I’ve used a variety of yarn weights…if I had to choose a favorite, it would probably be DK. It works up faster than fingering, yet the material created isn’t too thick. 😊

I use dk weight for hats and cowls and fingering weight for socks and shawls. I always have to have a pair of socks cast on. Happy holidays!

My favorite weight of yarn is 4. It's what I have just become accustomed to since for a long time, I have only known acrylic. I do want to try 3 and keep going smaller... eventually.

TBH my favorite is Aran or DK weight. Not too thick, or thin so that my carpal tunnel kicks in. Very versatile & easy to make so many things.

I'm not great at knowing the weight of the yarn, however, we have 4 alpacas and their yarn has been 3 or 4 ply worsted. I usually use two skeins at a time.

My favorite yarn to knit with is definitely fingering weight yarn. I taught myself how to knit with fingering weight yarn because I wanted to be able to knit socks. Crazy huh!! Oh goodness….I love all weights of yarn. 🧶. DK is gorgeous for lighter , finer projects and worsted #4 for hats for my grandsons . Then there’s #5 bulky for use with a knitting loom. Just can’t pick just one… but #4 😂❤. Have a Blessed Holiday and peaceful New Year. ❤
