It would be interesting to see if we could come up with some temporary loader stands that could be removed once the loader is attached to the tractor.

I've been thinking about that as well. I've also been thinking about cutting the middle (lowest horizontal section) out of the stand so that it works with the blower. I don't think I'd lose any functionality, but I hate to cut it if there's another reasonable solution.

Hey thanks for the video. I have the same snow blower and front three point hitch on my 1025R. The dealer installed the front bracket on the frame but the snow blower did not come installed and I did not receive any installation instructions. I picked up my tractor the night before a snow storm so I was out in my unheated pole barn trying to figure this out while it was -3 degrees F. I was not real happy. This year I was able to take my time getting it ready. I like the blower but the lack of information was really disappointing considering how expensive they are. Thanks for sharing your experience. That shield for the PTO on the bracket that houses the bearing is really strange. It sucks trying to remember the perfect order for putting it together. I like how you leave the top two bolts out so you can get the 3-point arms in. I had to experiment taking that housing on and off a few times to figure out how to get everything to work. I do wish this was a little easier. There are times I would like to put the loader back on but it's a big enough pain that it's not worth it. I have the single point hydraulic connector so the the hydraulic connections are simple. I also wish the shoot would turn past 90 degrees. I find that at the end of my driveway I want to tun it more like 120 degrees. The deckdolly.com hydraulic chute rotation kit would be awesome for this blower. I talked to the owner but he needs access to this blower to make a prototype.

The documentation is terrible! I cannot reattach the loader with the front bearing housing assembly on as the loader kickstand hits it when trying to re-attach. My plan is to unbolt the kickstand from the loader during the winter for when I need it. (not often). Then, I'll man-handle it (with my two boys' help) onto the tractor if needed. That's easier than unbolting the front bearing assembly and removing the PTO shaft.

I just remembered that the bracket I mention is for the RIO sensor, but I've bypassed it, so it's not needed.

Maybe a silly question, but with this front mount system. Am I stuck with this John deere blower or can I get any manufacturer blower that is a 3pt hitch and appropriately sized ?
@mymorristribe
@mymorristribe 6 месяцев назад
That's a great question. I don't know. The 3-pt hitch up front has different dimensions from a 3-pt rear hitch. You'd also need a drive shaft > PTO shaft connection that was compatible with a 1025R. For now, you likely only have this option. The blower is a beast, but having the lower drive shaft assembly installed removed the ability to easily install/remove the loader since the load "kickstand" hits the lower bearing assembly which holds the drive shaft where the front PTO shaft connects. Overall, it's a great blower. I have plowed for probably 50-60hrs this winter on gravel, dirt roads. Due to tons of big rocks and frozen mud chunks, I've broken probably 40 shear bolts so far and the horizontal auger has even bent in places, but it continues to throw snow. Yesterday, I plowed 12-13" of heavy wet snow over about 10 miles of dirt roads in our mountains. It took me 12hrs and two full tanks of diesel, 8-10 shear pins, and 3 clogged chutes (wet snow) to get it all done, but the thing ate all that snow like a beast.

Link to this or where you bought it? The ones I'm finding are for the larger Deeres.

This is what you are looking for: www.deere.com/en/attachments-accessories-and-implements/utility-tractors-attachments-accessories/snow-removal-equipment/54-hd-snowblower/ I ordered mine from Desert Greens Equipment in Albuquerque, but any JD Dealer should be able to order it. The blower + front 3pt hitch cost me $7400, so it ain't cheap. I was also quoted $5300 for the older style blower.

I ask because i found you by searching for ring gear seal replacement tips. Watched your video on that then watched some of your other content and found this video with the HD loader. When I was shopping for a snowblower for my 2015 last year my dealer told me the HD blower wouldn’t fit on a 1025 2017 or older. Was he correct and you did some customizing or was he wrong and it mounted right up? Thanks for the first response I appreciate it.

@@nhdetailpro He was completely wrong. It fit fine with no mods. I'm actually moving back to Florida, so if you are interested, I could sell you mine. I'm in NM.

@@mymorristribe good for you snow stink’s anyway! I’m in NH and even if I were close I bought the standard quick hitch blower. Would love the upgrade though!

Any idea how long it will take you to switch back over to the loader?
@mymorristribe
@mymorristribe 9 месяцев назад
It's a bigger problem than you'd think. The loader kickstand will hit against the mid-pto drive shaft bearing holder assembly when trying to attach it the conventional way. My solution is to unbolt the kickstand from the loader and man-handle it onto the tractor when needed. Helps to have two strong teen boys. But, I haven't actually tried that yet. We three can easily move it by hand though, so it should work. Not ideal!
@rodneytsteele
@rodneytsteele 9 месяцев назад
That’s too bad, so even if you remove the pto guard it will still hit the bearing assembly?

@@rodneytsteeleLast I checked a year ago, yes, but I'll look at it again this weekend. Nuts design. I'll do a video either way.

Ok great, appreciate it. Like you, I would also need my loader on several times during the blower season, was hoping it might not be too much of a hassle. That blower looks awesome though 👍

That front quick hitch looked like it would be great on the rear. That was so easy to hookup, was that purchased separately? If so, how much was it? Very well done video, color coding the lines was so simple 🧐 wish my JD F935 mower had that front hitch! Take care 👍
