A lot of great songs exist out there if you're lucky enough to cross paths with them. From the moment I heard this song back in 2003 on Darkness Falls, I was hooked!!! After listening for 17ish years through both the shitty and phenomenal moments in my life--- I think it's safe to say that this IS in fact -- my favorite song!! Thanks for reading in 2020, rock on!
Closure was(/is) such an underrated band. I saw them with Cinder, Stereomud, and Sevendust in Madison, Wisconsin, at the Barrymore Theatre in December of 2002. I usually don't really care to see the opening bands because, in my experience, they've generally been pretty bad. However, my friends and I had finished eating quicker than anticipated and just decided to head out and maybe get there a little early for some better seats. I am so glad we did. I 100% believe they were the best band on stage that day, and all of my friends agreed. That's saying something because I absolutely loved, and still love, Sevendust. I have seen them live more than any other band in my life. They totally blew us away, and no one there seemed to have any clue who they were. Their name wasn't even on the ticket, but we had heard there was a possible opener before Cinder. It took a few weeks before I finally figured out their band name. After getting that, I looked, but couldn't find ANY information about them. I didn't see a website, any mention of them besides occasionally being mentioned that they were on that tour, or anything else for maybe half a year. Then, mercifully, they started getting an online presence, released their first single, "Look Out Below", and dropped their debut/only album in mid-June of '03. It is still one of my favorite albums from that year, which is saying a lot because that was a pretty amazing release year for rock music. I remember 2005 being really good as well. I was pretty damn sad they broke up, but I know Brian Howes (the singer, for those who didn't know) has produced and helped write some really fantastic albums. After 17 years, I still remember their performance quite clearly and I really wish I had the chance to see them live again. I was also shocked their album wasn't a major hit. I was absolutely convinced they were the next big band.
The lead singer from Closure got picked up by a record label and is now a big shot songwriter/producer for other artists. Know a band called Hinder? He wrote their debut.
I really wish Closure would get back together and release another record. I picked up their self-titled album on a whim the day it came out, and it blew me away. Every single track on it rocks, and I still listen to it pretty regularly.
I'm listening to this song right now because of that scary movie Darkness Falls. I remember it scared me SOOO bad as a kid watching it at my friend's house. Really cool movie and underrated, and this seems like a really cool band. It truly saddened me to read that Closure disbanded back in 2006 :( ahh...where did the years go? :(
Ann Hills I bought the album back when it came out after seeing the video on a Canadian music channel randomly. Awesome CD, wish I could find my original copy now.
I bought the album after watching Darkness Falls. Had to go to great lengths though. Couldn't find it here in Portugal, so i contacted my cousins in Canada and had them look for it there. Some time later i received it by mail. I was so happy.
Every good movie needs a great theme song and soundtrack and damn did Darkness Falls have it. Every time I think about that movie I always think of the part where this song plays and now that I know the songs name and band I have it in my playlist!

I was 18 when that movie came out. It didn't scare me, but I liked it. I miss movies like that. Hollywood used to be not so bad. Rock music disappeared from the mainstream after the 2000s as well. It's sad. It's not just getting older, but the music industry is dead now.
This band has been my fav since I saw this video when it first came out. Closure is exactly the right word for this band to me - means exactly what they give me.

Used to love this scene in Billabong Odyssey. I used to have it recorded on VHS and every summer it was on my TV at least once a week. Back when summer was summer.
