Cloud Atlas Extended Featurette (2012) - Tom Hanks, Halle Berry Movie HD 

one of the most undervalued movies of all times! i laugh each time i hear: its too complicated, its too long, WHAT? so you prefered to watch something easy? then tune up Friends or a football game. I watch and read movies and books that challenge me, Inception, Cloud Atlas, Matadero 5, this are work of arts.

I must admit I had to watch it about 12 times before I finally saw all of the links and the beauty and the clear message. When my realization finally emerged that "our lives are not our own" combined with my favorite line of the movie, "what is an ocean but a multitude of drops" solidified this film as one that changed my outlook on life. I now see that my life is not my own. Yes, freewill and dreams are mine, but MY LIFE - my legacy- what I do with my life and who I have impacted and who has impacted me....those experiences between those we know, and more importantly (imo) those we don't know shape our lives and their lives. I try to pay it forward. I've done things I never thought I could do. Two women have told me in the last 6 weeks that I inspire them, that I give them strength- I don't see how, but I know I want to be a drop in the ocean. The world is beautiful and life is miraculous. it's up to drops and good deeds and acceptance to fill our world with love. I dare you to do something for a stranger. Smile at someone who looks sad. give a child a sticker if he's crying in the grocery line and his mom is trying to pay. Pay for the coffee of the person behind you. Visit your grandparents and bring their favorite flowers or pictures. Help someone unload groceries. compliment someone's hair or clothes. But a gallon of milk or a pack of diapers and give it to a mom you know that needs it. Mow your neighbors yard. Hug your children. Do something good, because then you become a drop and your life will inspire someone else...then you have truly lived and loved.

This film really made me think about my life, it really made me evaluate what i use to believe. I use to not believe in anything, though the themes and moral teachings in this film were so moving for me, i got down to what i believe in. no film has ever done that to me.

Every one should watch this movie.

I definitely hope that this film meets every expectation it has. It just already seems like that sort of film that is going to forever be remembered and will appeal to nearly everyone.

HEY I JUST saw it last night....yeah GREAT movie!!! :)

I walked out of the theater ,in to the mall and went to the DVD store and put my name down for a phone call from them when the DVD came out...I knew I would need to see the film again and again to get the FULL meaning...I also bought the book..(unlike most films- I liked the movie better.)

Everything came together in the end.

I am so fucking angry. Where the hell are all the Oscar nominations for Cloud Atlas?! This is a joke. It shoud have at least been nominated for Best film, Best score, Best screenplay, Best directors, Best actors, Best actress, Best editing, Best cinematograpy, Best sound, Best MAKE UP. This is bullshit. Those dumb, narrow-minded, ignorant academy and critics are a fucking joke. I haven't seen a more masterpiece ever, and I won't for many years to come. This is a joke. The end.

Lana Wachowski.... Not convincing. I can though see why she was interested in making a film so heavily focused on identity. Actually quite hyped for this.
