Hi Sahil, I too have been in this cloud kitchen space for about a year from the initial idea to execution. We recently had to shutdown due to lack of cash flow. I would like to add few points for all your viewers who would consider this business model, regarding the challenges that we faced while operating and few strategies that worked well for us. 1.Customer Acquisition: The lack of direct customer interaction can back fire to the trust on this model. 2.Discounted prices can effect the margins so decide wisely. 3. Location of the kitchen plays a vital role in this model in both ways nearer or remote to the targeted area of sales. Like remotely placed kitchen can help in reducing the cost but may fail in sales numbers whereas placing kitchens near to the area of sales can incur more infrastructural cost of operations. What I felt missing in this video is the one time upfront safety deposit for renting a kitchen(Which gets higher as you get near to your area of sale). A co-kitchen concept with shared operating hour helped us in resolving this which can be helpful in the initial phase. 4.A proper SOP can help in scaling the business in the long run. Its a investment that we felt useful. 5.The major challenge that would love to put down, the model does not support a barrier to entry. The best thing about this was the scalability that one can reach and a good margin indeed if done properly. Best wish to all the people seeking this business model. Cheers.

Zomato and swiggy charge around 12k to 15k a month to promote your restaurant in their platform to get orders and also we have to offer huge discount upto 100 rupees on min order of 149 or so and above it they take a commission of 28% on the each order bill.. so after all theses expense do restaurant or cloud kitchen owner make profit???

Just FYI, Faasos also have dine-in Bangalore. I have been an elite member for about 2 years 2016-2017, but overtime quality of Faasos products have been degraded.
