Same here, I would like to see them in 120mm … I ride a direct drive board …so clearance important …

Tynee also has a version of the hydro wheels, but instead of 100mm the tynee wheels are 105mm

The same way you feel about water I feel about powdery surfaces (and water).sand WILL most definitely get under your belts and from there it’s like rubbing sandpaper/grip tape against the inside of your belts, and against your gears. Water might get into your bearings and rust things out ? Depends on how much you take on. If you splash through a small run of it i’m sure you’ll be fine but even still I’ll pick up my board step over it. completely submerging the board through a puddle is not happening bubba Jack. if I don’t see a way around it, I’ll turn around and go back the way I came . I really don’t like riding through grass either as it also breaks up and gets under your belts my point is I don’t want nothing that didn’t come with the board out of the box going in the drivetrain that ain’t supposed to. And sand is an absolute no go . Again, if I can’t pick up my board and walk across it, I’ll turn and go back the way I came. I don’t mean to sound prima donna, but I’ve never seen her on an electic skateboard nor has she bought the one have

Fine dust like what was flying up when you went through the dirt is just as likely to ruin electromechanical gear as water. Nice wheels though. With them being so grippy, I wonder how fast the rubber wears down.

Probably not quite as likely, but yes, maintenance and cleaning are always highly suggested. The wear question is definitely a good one! On the similar tread for my Rover 165r’s, they’ve held up nicely and I’ve got over 300 miles on them.

@@VaporTrailChannel I destroyed an electric scooter after 5 days of driving on hard packed clay and sand that made dust clouds. It seized up the gears and then burnt out the motor. It went months driving through puddles before that.

@@DanielCrist ok, well, that’s hard to deny when you have a specific experience. Scooters tend to be hub driven, so maybe that has something to do with it.
