Yeah wrinkled tablecloth and people with Mickey ears and tank tops in the dinning room. For 40k they should have a dress code. Although I guess if you pay that much you should be able to wear what you want!
Yeah, I had the same thought. $25K membership & $10K/year? Those wrinkles can be ironed. Maybe it's just the help and healthy dose of jealousy trying to get even with the privileged?
Lmao, I bet if a celeb walked up in there, people would want photos. However, isn't Club 33 supposed to have a rule against that or sum shit? Like, treat them as a normal person or sum shit along those lines.
I'd say about 1/2 the guests that go to Club 33 do so because of a corporate account. I worked for a company that had an account and to show employee appreciation, they would send about 8 of us to Disneyland and Club 33 was included. I liked it and I did wear a suit. It was back in 2007.
1:36 one of my favorite paintings of all time Imagine him in the prime of his life, eating breakfast in the middle of his own park it might sound silly to some, but he inspires the hell outta me. Thanks for uploading this part of history!
Pablo Sergio Rivera oh stop being butthurt. It's a lot of money. Im never gonna go but who cares? If they actually let us get more footage then maybe we'd see if it's worth it. Also if your paying that much. Then yeah you should be pampered.
Years ago the charger plates were lined with gold. When they changed them to those white ones you see they were sent as a gift to members as part of the yearly gifts members get. Someone sold one for $13K on ebay. You get some goodies that make it worth it and it's a fun experience.
This video is what Club 33 looked like 3 years ago. It was remodeled 2 years ago and the difference of the new remodeled Club 33 is truly more elegant...
I'm not buying it - $25,000 membership then $12,000 annual dues and the freaking table cloths are wrinkled? Then look at the people - they aren't dressed up to that code.
Just went in the end of October and they had just put up the Christmas decorations the day we went! Glad I got to experience it before it went under the huge construction for the expansion.
Omg I just realized I’ve been here before. The elevator is what reminded me. And the wooden door cover checker pattern thing. It was with a friend who’s family was wealthy but I didn’t know it was like this. Sadly I don’t remember much more
Wow this video reminds me of my grandma's dinning area at her house. That art paint of Walt is just fantastic. I mean is pricey but if you have money to burn mine as well go to this 33 Disney club. Thanks for the video I really enjoyed it!!!
so i assume theres a pretty good flow of people going through there every day? i always thought it would normally be pretty much empty because it was so exclusive. and i had no idea there was a whole little buffet style bar :0 also, is the food as amazing as it looks? it was awesome having a more in depth tour, thanks for sharing! :)
I was just there (3 days before Christmas 2013) and they already had changed some things from in this video. The buffet tables were moved out and only a dessert table stands where the salad/seafood bar used to be. Salad and seafood portions are predesigned and are no longer "open buffet". They also did not have the Club 33 plates at the table as shown in this video. I've been there almost 30 times and this was the first time any of the things mentioned above were different. Hopefully they revert to the way the club used to operate once the renovation is complete!!
Those changes are permanent, particularly the changes to the buffet. California laws prevent them from continuing with the buffet as they have been in the past. They would need permanent buffet stations rather than wheeled ones and they don't want to have that. This video was shot a few months before the changes began.
thank you for clearing that up! had no idea why they removed those buffet tables...i like my unlimited seafood and salad! Still worth the price though considering it's cheaper to go than a normal Park Hopper. Thanks for the great videos as always!
Wow, what happened? I went to Club 33 a few times in the late 90's and it was crazy good, exclusive, dress code strictly enforced and spotless with everything flawless...then again Disneyland food and presentation in the 90's was better😟 Oh Disney, remember the Rap Parties for Aladdin, Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast? Remember the annual employee picnic at Feature Animation? Remember!!! Bring back the good 'ol days!!! 😭
It's that expensive and meant to be fine dining but: -It's a buffet -table cloths aren't pressed -plates aren't lined up square on set table This looks like it's imitation fine dining made by amateurs
It's only a buffet for lunch. This is because lunch is popular for friends of actual members and those people tend to be more casual. Dinner entirely different experience and atmosphere. Dinner has a strict dress code and code of conduct. It's also far more difficult to get into unless you are a full member. I've been able to try both and dinner is a far superior experience.
The only reason I was considering to join was literally just to use the Court of Angels as the ceremony space if I get married one day. Walking down that gorgeous staircase with my dad would be a dream come true. But for 25k + 1k annual fee for paper-thin unpressed table cloths, taxidermy, people still dressed as tourists, and a *buffet,* hell no.
I remember working here several times in 2000. This is where the "VIP" guest could come in, enjoy alcohol, a complimentary buffet, and a quiet atmosphere away from the frenzied chaos outside. However, if you want the GOOD FOOD, you go to Lawry's restaurant, cause that food was GOOD.
Such an amazing video. Thank you for sharing it with us. I have it on my bucket list to go for my 33rd bday this November. If anyone happens to have connections and can help my wife and me get in, I am happy to send some $ their way as a thank you!
They usually don't open the door when you ring the buzzer, they just confirm your reservation and unlock the door :3 I remember the bathroom was really unique :p
+Koolombo Loloso For what I heard from a friend that had an one year membership, you don't get only access to the club, but other advanteges, like fastpass that work on everyride at every time, exclusive tours and VIP events, 20 park tickets, ecc....
I'm confused, I thought club 33 was 'exclusive' and had to wait for an invitation (if you could afford the membership fee). Is this the actual place or just something for the tourists as I'm not seeing anything worth $100,000 here?
there are places like this everywhere for free! the only catch is most celebrities have club 33 membership and come there a lot so if you wanna meet Tom Hanks, just hand over the $10,000.
This comment section is more entertaining than the club and it didnt cost me 35k! SCORE!!! grammor!! I just spelled it like that to keep the ball rolling 🤣
I went with a friend and his dad and some of their relatives. Idk how we managed to get in because I was 9 at the time so ya... they gave us like a palate cleanser with tuna and like some sort of vegetable on a cracker or something like that it was like 4 years ago so I can't really remember
I've replied to so many comments saying it's not a buffet, so I'm going to just say it here. It isn't a buffet! They have a delicious 5-course dining experience there.
I'm guessing this is an off event where more regular people can try it out, which would explain why there's a lot of people and let a camera film it. either that or this "exclusive club" is a red herring and the real exclusive club is somewhere else out of view.
I never was a fan of table cloths why were they ever a thing? It's a lot easer to whipe off a table than washing and drying a table cloth then put it back on, what's up with a that? Also a nice wood table looks much better to me than some old cloth
Believe me or not, but I have family who are members there. They were total Disneyland freaks and I remember as a kid them talking about it. A few years back I assumed my grandma went for the first time in forever because she was bitching about any and everything that day. I didn't really care, but I can see why. I've only been to Disneyland twice. 😅
