Precisely correct! That was the ACTUAL problem in the match- lack of clinical finishing by the Viola. The PK should have NEVER been a defining call in this match and the series.

Why not just make the thumbnails on highlight videos "so and so won the match" in big letters. All you have to do is see the still of a goal celebration to know who won. If I can't watch the game because of work, I want to at least be on the edge of my seat for 10-15 minutes of a highlight video. Can't even have that... 🙄

@jamesthefirst8790 yes its a foul at this height IFK with out contact FK with which we have here. Clear foul and a penalty here of course. However if the player had his head lower then that then it's dangerous play on his part and it would have been IFK coming out.
Agree... that was no penalty... but Fiorentina deserved to win at least 1-3... they have a big problem... incompetent forwards... that will be their demise against Olympiakos.
Terrible call, he was obviously trying to take one for the team. He saw the knee and dove for it expecting a penalty. Brugge deserved the win. Shameful decision I believe from the ref. 😮💨

I'm not that much of a fan of Brugge either but I don't want Fiorentina to advance they're a rival of mine. Diving desperately for a ball knowing you have an angle that blocks the ref's view isn't dumb but pretty damn cheap especially because the knee was up first and his body facing the opposite direction. Even VAR should have set things straight. And what's a clowt you bozo learn how to spell.
What a chit penalty, its sad refs influence the scores more then players with VAR, I feel like it causes more harm then good when even with VAR with such obvious calls bad calls are made.
@@YOtotzini no there was no penalty, regular fight for the ball. If the other player used his leg instead of head would be nothing. No raised foot, no studs, only someone incompetent would call this a penalty
Is that a foul on the field outside the box? It's a late challenge, the attacker got to the ball first the defender got the man, foul, just bc it's in the box doesn't make it less of an infraction.
