I use the Rock 8 for accuracy, I also have X Mile 8, and Apocalypse 4. I’m playing between $100-300 K. What my Rock lacks in Distance, my wood makes up for it. I’m looking for Accuracy verses power, once I get my Apocalypse to level 5… the Rock will be my Driver.
Thanks for the clear explanations, i'm using Thor's lvl 5 and have to say that in shootout's the backspin makes it a beast :) Soon lvl 6 will greatly help on expert tour👍
Drivers My Opinion: The Rocket - The first Driver u unlock, Nothing special about this one, Use this if the other option is the Beginner Driver. This is The Quarterback but Worse. This could be a good club in Back tee Shootouts/Par 3 Maps where u need backspin (If u dont have High level Thor's Hammer). The Extra Mile - This is a Really good Driver for Power when u dont have Thor's Hammer and Apocalypse. At lower level, Its just a mediocre club that lacks Accuracy and Curl So u need to get Perfect or be careful with this one. It does get good when u got it to level 6. U could change a lower level Apocalypse with this at level 7. Decent club in lower tours. REMEMBER: THIS IS THE LEAST ACCURATE DRIVER Big Topper - Like the name, this is the only driver that has a full topspin (Thor's Hammer almost tho). Its really good in an open Fairway Tournament like this College chaos tournament we have now. U wont regret using it in that tournament. Its like The Extra Mile, Also lack accuracy. The Extra Mile is still better in tours tho. The Quarterback - Use this if u like an Accurate Driver. its Better than the Rocket by a long shot, this is a better choice than the Extra Mile and Big Topper in a very dangerous hole. It lacks Power tho. The Rock - The Mix of Extra mile and Quarterback. This club is not good at lower levels (Coz it lacks spin), it does get really good at higher level tho. U can change ur Quarterback or Extra mile once u get this thing to level 4. It performs like Extra mile with more accuracy and less spin and little less power at level 4. This club is underrated like crazy. Unpopular opinion: This thing is better than Extra mile and Quarterback. Thor's Hammer - Almost a perfect driver, its a contender to The Apocalypse, The only problem with this club is the Curl. The Apocalypse - It has more power than all the other drivers. Its like the reverse to the Thor's Hammer, It got a REALLY good curl but less spin and Accuracy. Ranking 7. The Rocket 6. Big Topper 5. The Quarterback 4. The Extra Mile 3. The Rock (One of the most underrated clubs just like The Claw) 2. Thor's Hammer (REALLY CLOSE WITH THE APOCALYPSE) 1. The Apocalypse. (Its Really close, Coz The Apocalypse is way more useful at middle level coz it got a better accuracy somehow at middle level and maxed power at level 5)
