Short irons: The Apache - U should use this one till u get the Thorn or the Claw (Kingfisher if u lucky enough). It got power and Accuracy is not really important in a short iron imo. It got power which can help u. The Kingfisher - Use this one if u lucky enough to get it early. It got a decent stats, it only lacks power and curl at lower levels. Topspin is not important anyway. The Runner - Never use this one, The Apache is still a better choice pretty much. This thing lacks power the accuracy also not enough to change Your Apache. Hug your Apache right now. Who needs a lot of topspin anyways? The Thorn - One of the best short iron in the game, change ur Apache to this immediately. It got everything u need for a short iron. It kinda lacks accuracy tho. (Better than Apache) The Hornet - Not a good choice unless u like accuracy in a short iron. This kinda lacks Spin at low levels which is the most important stats in a short iron. Got pretty good at high levels but The next 2 clubs is gonna beat this one. The Claw - This is kinda mix of The Thorn and The Hornet. The best thing about this one that it is a common and got a decent stats, it lacks power and ball guide at lower levels tho. It got a decent backspin, Curl is the strongest point of this club, which makes it versatile. It got a better accuracy than the Thorn which is just makes it a lot better. The best short iron in the game imo. Underrated Short iron The Falcon - the best short iron stats wise but its an epic, so thats why its not the best. Ranking: 7. The Runner 6. The Kingfisher 5. The Apache 4. The Falcon 3. The Hornet 2. The Thorn 1. The Claw
I would say that both curl and accuracy are fairly useless on a SI. But if you play a tour where there are both rough bump opportunities and tight greens where you need the backspin, the Claw is actually quite nice.
@@stettan1it is a little bit better than the Thorn (Thorn is better tho when it maxed), is coz its a common and got similar backspin and got better accuracy and curl which could make it more versatile. It doesnt have as much ball guide as the Thorn tho. And thats why The Apache>The Runner coz of ur first statement
Falcon 8 imo, The backspin is enough tbh no need to be too much. U get the other stats, Accuracy, Top spin, Curl and little bit of ball guide. Falcon is the best one when its maxed
