i already ordered the 6CD box.

Hello Andrew, I just watched this latest video about the upcoming Mind Games release. I really don't mind hidden tracks on CD's, but I don't like it when it is part of the last track several seconds later. When the song is listed on the CD then several seconds or more later they have hidden track, I just hate it. Just list the last track by title (track 12) and give us the rest of the hidden track/s with no title as another track then we could type in the title so we can see it, play it and enjoy it whenever we want to without having to guess where that damn hidden track is. Yes, we can put the title on, but make it completely separate so we can listen to it without trying to find it. Will they have these hidden tracks on the vinyl and how will they be discovered? Let's say, if you have Mind Games which say last 4:13 and you have a 10:00 run time with the hidden track lasting 3:40, it makes it difficult to find that hidden track in those 3 something minute and make it hard to listen to immediately. Even though I do like the regular Mind Games LP and singles a lot, I do hope this new Mind Games release will be absolutely fantastic. I do wish everything that is going to be put out would be everything that is on the CD's or LP's and easily to find. Also I wouldn't mind having the single versions and promotional versions in mono and stereo (promotional singles were made in mono & stereo). Some of the single versions were different than the LP version. How about some radio spots for Mind Games? Thanks for your time and the effort you put in to mentioning everything you give us. Probably right. I would guess it is a full previously unreleased demo of the song.

There will certainly be *some* hidden tracks on the regular 2 disc edition, though not all of them.

But I have the 2002 remix which sounds incredible

@@jupitermadcat That was a revolutionary remix because of the lo-fi original mix. But like mixes from that era it has its demerits. The recent remixes are being done a lot more natural and faithful to the originals.

It was never in my top 3 or 4, but I've been prompted to go back to it a few times lately and an enjoying it a lot more now and hopefully the new version will give me chance to properly reappraise it like the McCartney II Archive Collection did.

I'm The Greatest on the Anthology box was doctored, where as this is at the correct speed with the correct studio chatter around it. I agree hidden tracks can be annoying especially if you miss out on something because you didn't know it was there so weren't tempted to buy, I suspect here there will be reveals of these hidden tracks during the build up to keep people interested amd we'll likely all be aware of what they are in good time

Not a silly question, I think keep an eye on the John Lennon social accounts (and of course any unboxing/reviews I do! 😉) and am sure all will be known and revealed by the time you have your box set.

Let's see what other hidden tracks are revealed during the run up, it seems likely it will be in the Deluxe and Super Deluxe boxes

It's listed as hidden track. So the song is included, albeit in a bit annoying way.

Hi yes I still plan part 2 of that, but all this Mind Games/Ringo/One Hand Clapping activity has forced me to delay that somewhat! 👍

@@AndrewDixonMusic Ha! 😂 I love this album. Mind games that is. It’s a really cult fans album. Not too well known. But the tracks are mostly good. Also 1973 he was still battling his deportation from the US, so no doubt that influenced the songwriting.

As far as music is concerned, I've not seen any evidence or suggestion that the huge box would have anything more than the Deluxe box. All signs seem to point towards them being the same music content.

@@AndrewDixonMusic what i meant was are the hidden tracks shown on the particular release in the video ad exclusive to that particular release , for example is I'm the Greatest exclusive to the vinyl EP< therefore forcing us to buy every configuration released to get ALL the tracks?

I think they've decided to have some fun with this release, and we could all use some fun!

Hi Gareth, I'm as certain as I can be that yes, they will be, though I expect like the previous 2 ultimate mix albums some of those will likely just be on the blu rays in that package.

Every bit of music is available in CD quality for about £45 as a download (or free for streaming), so there's definitely great options that don't involve big spends.

It's a quite médiocre record.

I agree, "Mind Games" is a bit underwhelming, especially next to "Walls And Bridges". But, there's enough pretty good songs on "Mind Games" to make the box set worthwhile for me. The bonus hidden tracks should help. However, a "Walls And Bridges" or a "Double Fantasy" box set would be much better.

It's just okay. Imagine and Walls and Bridges plus Double Fantasy keeps my attention 😊

It's the first time since 1998 outtakes from these studio sessions are being released, so I think we will be fine.

@@peka7776 No one is refuting that the music industry is a commercial business, but your comment implied they are milking the same material, which is inaccurate. This is the first time in 26 years (!) that outtakes from these sessions are being released. Besides, every single second is available on streaming for free. So, yeah, we all indeed will be fine. Also, just like with Harrison and McCartney, when nothing is released at all, the same brigade will whine: "They never give us anything!"
